SOLANA BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) -- A new outdoor art museum showcasing art from around the world is opening in Solana Beach. Called the Art Alley on Cedros, the museum is free to the public. The grand opening of the new alley will be held during the last Cedros Stroll of the summer.The first exhibit is surf-themed and will feature 12 surfboards designed by various international artists displayed along the alley. The entire museum was designed to withstand the elements and, after its opening, will never close. The grand opening of the alley will be held on September 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 320 South Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach. Music will continue until 10 p.m. 674

(KGTV) — Video captured Friday showed another bluff failure in the Solana Beach area, weeks after a series of small bluff collapses.Kelly Nelle captured a small bluff failure at a site that appeared taped off due to a previous bluff collapse. No one was injured.Several parts of Fletcher Cove were taped off in August as sandstone tumbled about 75 feet down to the beach. It isn't clear if Friday's collapse was at the same site, but the area was already taped off and appeared to have a pile of sediment at the base of the cliff side.In late August, Torrey Pines beach goers were warned of bluff collapses after a section fell to the ground. In early August, a massive section of rock fell in Encinitas, killing three people.As temperatures rise and bring more locals out to the coast, officials cautioned visitors to walk 25 - 40 feet away from all bluffs and not to walk around barricades because large rocks could still fall.Video from Friday showed some smaller rocks falling before the larger section fell onto the Solana Beach spot. 1068

Jason Anazagasty said.A virtual reality program was also created, scripted and voiced by “Options” teens.It includes real-life scenarios that play out through a virtual reality headset.Their choices on how to handle cyberbullying, violence on the streets and so much are on full display — as are the consequences of those choices.Det. SPRING VALLEY (KGTV) -- A driver is recovering in the hospital after being rescued from his car Wednesday night.According to California Highway Patrol, the man crashed his car around 10:15 p.m. on Sandy Bev Lane.Deputies say the car sheared a power pole before taking out several fences and almost hitting a house.The victim was taken to the hospital with major injuries. No other cars were involved.CHP is investigating what caused the driver to lose control. 468
