PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) — A Trolls doll is being pulled off store shelves amid complaints it promotes child abuse. Toymaker Hasbro said Wednesday that it's in the process of removing the "Trolls World Tour Giggle and Sing Poppy" from the market and will be offering customers a replacement doll of the popular female character. The doll had been designed to giggle when placed in a sitting position, but some parents complain the sound activation button is inappropriately placed between the doll's legs. In a statement to the Providence Journal, Hasbro spokeswoman Julie Duffy said that the placement of the sensor wasn't intentional. An online petition suggests the doll is "conditioning our children to think pedophilia is OK." 735

Police in Troy, Michigan said a man armed with knives was shot and killed after charging at officers on Monday morning.According to police, they were called to the home on Saddle Brook for a domestic situation just after 7 a.m. on Monday.Officers followed the suspect, a 23-year-old man, and when he noticed officers, he started charging at them. Another officer in an unmarked car got out to distract the suspect, and then the suspect tried getting in an unmarked car.Police say he then turned toward the marked vehicle and started charging at the officer. The officer pulled out his taser and fired, but the taser was not effective and he kept charging toward officers.That's when the officer shot at the suspect several times, killing him.Police said it's been over 20 years since there was an officer-involved shooting in Troy. 849

PALA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- The third woman who died in a Saturday morning bus crash in Pala Mesa has been identified as 23-year-old Cinthya Karely Rodriguez Banda. The San Diego County Medical Examiner says Banda died after being ejected from the bus. She was from Mexico. Monday, the two other women who died in the crash were identified. Maria De La Luz Diaz, 67 of Riverside, and Julia Perez Cornejo, 73 of Pasadena, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to information from the California Highway Patrol and the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.RELATED: Charter bus had a history of maintenance violationsThe women were among 21 passengers in a charter bus traveling from El Monte to Tijuana that crashed on rain-slicked southbound 15 near State Route 76 around 10:25 a.m. Saturday. CHP said Monday night that the boy was in stable condition and is expected to recover. OTAY MESA, Calif., (KGTV) — Thursday's Caliente Fire turned into a massive blaze at a pallet yard in Otay Mesa, a fire that has burned nearly 500 acres.The business owners returned to the yard Friday to find devastation, as the blaze remained 75% contained.This is not a dream. The life that Francisco and Carolina Ramirez built is now gone. "You're hoping that it will you will wake up in the morning and go back as usual. But you realize when you wake up, it's real," Francisco Ramirez said. RELATED: Cause of Caliente Fire in Otay Mesa under investigationTwenty-five years ago, the couple had the idea to recycle unwanted wood plants and turn them into pallets. It was an effort to help Mother Nature. But on Thursday, it was Mother Nature that destroyed their business, Atlas Wood Pallets. "It's like we've been into a war. And then after that, we only see ashes," Ramirez said. Ramirez says his yard was a small city made of 60,000 pallets. But 99.9% of his inventory is now ash. The 8-foot loading dock is now a swimming pool of dirt.
