The woman was on the Grand Princess cruise ship that arrived in Oakland on Monday. The woman is at home in isolation.A male in his 50s with a history of travel to Colorado.A male in his 40s who may also have a history of travel to Colorado. He is at home in isolation.A female in her 70s who was in federal quarantine at MCAS Miramar after travel on the Grand Princess cruise ship. The woman is in the hospital in isolation.A man in his 50s who is currently hospitalized. The man may have been a case of community transmission.In addition, a public health order starting Friday will ban any mass gathering of 250 people or more through the end of March, San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher said. Gatherings that are under that limit are being asked to limit social distance to six feet at events."We are strongly recommending that they cancel all non-essential travel, that they prioritize staying in the comfort and security of their own homes, and they do everything they can to avoid large crowds," said Nick Yphantides, San Diego County chief medical officer.Mayor Kevin Faulconer also issued a State of Emergency for the City of San Diego to take advantage of financial assistance in response to combating the virus' spread."Folks we have been planning for this for decades ... and there are certain data driven triggers that give us the ability to know ahead of time if our system is stressed," Yphantides added.The county has installed about 114 hand washing stations around the region. Tropical Storm Beta has made landfall on the Gulf Coast of Texas, bringing heavy rain and threats of flooding to the Lone Star state. At least two dozen water rescues were reported in Houston early Tuesday morning. The center of Beta crossed over the southern end of the Matagorda Peninsula at about midnight ET on Tuesday, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm is expected to follow the shoreline of the Texas Gulf Coast throughout the day on Tuesday and into Wednesday.Flash flood and flood warnings are in effect for areas around Houston and the Texas coast, according to the National Weather Service. 629

Two soldiers were killed in an Army AH-64E Apache helicopter crash at the local training area of their base in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Friday night, a statement from the 101st Airborne Division said.The accident happened at about 9:50 p.m. local time Friday evening and involved two soldiers from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, the statement said.The crew was conducting routine training when the accident occurred and there were no other casualties, it said. Two days after President Donald Trump’s visit to the city, Democratic nominee Joe Biden met with members of Jacob Blake’s family on Thursday before hosting a community discussion on race.Ben Crump, a civil rights attorney who is representing the Blake family, said that the former vice president met with Blake's family for nearly 90 minutes. Tropical Storm Epsilon has strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane.As of 11 p.m. Tuesday, Epsilon is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph.This general motion is expected to continue tonight, followed by a slightly slower west-northwestward motion on Wednesday.A turn toward the north-northwest is expected on Thursday.On the forecast track, Epsilon is forecast to move closer to Bermuda on Thursday and make its closest approach to the island on Thursday night.Epsilon now has maximum sustained winds near 75 mph with higher gusts.
