(CNN) -- When a World War II veteran turned 99, he had one regret. He had an opportunity earlier in life to meet some of the last living Civil War veterans, but he didn't go.Now 100-year-old Sidney Walton is giving people across the country the chance to meet one of the last living World War II veterans.Walton has been on a mission to visit all 50 states over the past year and a half, and he passed the halfway mark earlier this month. He's made it to 26 states, meeting with governors and anyone who will hear his story.He wants people he meets to remember the sacrifice World War II veterans made, especially as there aren't many left. He decided to leave his home in San Diego and meet with governors of each state as a way to reach a large number of people.He first met with Rhode Island Gov. He calls it his "No Regrets Tour.""We're going to complete this tour," Paul Walton, Sidney Walton's 64-year-old son, told CNN. At 100 years old, the amount of traveling and planning can be difficult. Paul Walton said all their plans are made a month in advance at most. Michelle Lujan Grisham wants to provide state residents with free tuition to public colleges, a plan that, if passed by the state legislature, would add New Mexico to the growing list of Democratic-led states to offer free higher education.Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, announced the New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship on Wednesday while speaking at an education summit at Central New Mexico Community College. The plan would provide free undergraduate tuition at New Mexico colleges for in-state residents and aims to cover nearly 55,000 students a year. It would cover tuition and fees for recent high school graduates at four-year public colleges as well as recent high school graduates and returning adult learners at two-year community colleges."We're going to deliver a major boost. F-R-E-E, let's make it proof," Lujan Grisham said drawing a standing ovation and applause from the audience. "It's been a really long time since I crossed the stage for my diploma at the University of New Mexico, but even though I spelled it out very slowly, I still know what FREE spells and I also know that free college for New Mexico students is the right thing to do."The program is estimated to cost between to million, according to Lujan Grisham's office, and would be paid for in part by federal grants and the New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship. (KGTV) — A woman was charged with lying to federal agents after she was able to sneak past security at Mar-a-Lago with a thumb drive containing "malicious malware" last weekend, according to a Florida criminal complaint.Yujing Zhang, 32, lied to Secret Service agents and made it deep in President Trump's Florida property before it was discovered that she was not on the property's access list, according to ABC News.She was caught with two Taiwanese passports, four cellphones, and a thumb drive containing the malicious malware, the complaint says.Zhang reportedly told agents she was asked by a Chinese friend to try and discuss foreign policy with a Trump family member, ABC News reported. The president was not at the club during the incident.Zhang has also been charged with entering restricted grounds.An investigation by the Secret Service is ongoing.ABC News contributed to this report. 905

(KGTV) - A group of Massachusetts police officers and firefighters are being hailed as heroes after coming to the aid of a choking puppy this week.North Reading resident Megan Vitale stormed into a police station Sunday telling officers her 9-week-old Saint Bernard puppy, Bodhi, was choking on food. An acquaintance came running in with Bodhi shortly after, the puppy limp and unresponsive in his arms, surveillance footage from the station showed.A group of officers came running out to begin administering first aid to the puppy. A group of North Reading firefighters also arrived at the station to help with back blows and chest compressions. RELATED: Beloved lizard missing from Spring Valley pet storeAfter 10 minutes, the food blockage was finally dislodged and Bodhi was revived."Ultimately, a life was saved thanks to rescuers falling back on their training and remaining calm. Even though we are not faced with this kind of incident every day, the officers reacted just as they would in any emergency situation," North Reading Police Chief Murphy said. “We are hopeful that the puppy will make a full recovery."Firefighters used a special oxygen tank designed for pets to help Bodhi get breathing again."Many of our firefighters have pets at home in their own families. We do not get to choose the emergency situation that comes our way, so it is important that first responders be prepared for anything," Fire Chief Stats said.Bodhi was able to leave with Vitale to receive follow-up care from a veterinarian, according to the police department. 1599
