According to documents posted to the JL Wrangler Forum, Fiat-Chrysler will soon be launching a recall that covers “certain” 2018-19 Wranglers because a faulty weld in the frame can cause a sudden crash.More specifically, the documents state some of the vehicles may have been built “with a front bar bracket weld located off the seam potentially resulting in the bracket separating from the frame.” If that happens, there may be a reduction in steering response, resulting in a crash without warning.At the time of this story, car owners had not yet been notified and the recall hasn’t been made official on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, but the posted documents show dealerships are aware of the impending recall. Some of the vehicles involved in the recall have actually not even been sold yet, so dealerships are being told to withhold sales.  991

He says he loves desert landscapes, and the relatively quick drive to visit his family in San Diego. Since the quarantine began in March, he has not seen them at all."I wish I could," Diaz said. "There are so many parks, the beach, the downtown, the Embarcadero, places that I love to go. But you know what? It's not worth the gamble."The 66-year-old says because of his age, he is taking the lockdown seriously."I knew that the numbers were looking pretty ugly," Diaz said.Friday, Governor Newsom and state officials mentioned Imperial County's data in a press conference."I noted a positivity rate over a 14-day period in the state of California at 5.3 percent. Also, a disproportionate number of minorities smoke menthols. Studies have also suggested that using menthol makes it more difficult to quit smoking, the FDA says. There have been groups, such as the African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council, that have pushed the federal government to ban menthol cigarettes. HOUSTON, Texas -- Police engaged a driver in a prolonged slow-motion chase along Houston highways Thursday morning.According to KTRK, the chase started after a 911 call to a disturbance. The suspect reportedly pistol whipped a woman and fled when police arrived.Police believed the suspect might have been armed during the pursuit.The chase started out as a high-speed chase. But when the SUV suffered a flat tire, the driver briefly stopped on the highway before proceeding at very slow speeds.Several miles later, the driver again pulled over and the SUV was surrounded by authorities.  Yet somehow the SUV was able to drive away again.After another brief chase, a patrol car performed a PIT maneuver to stop the SUV for good.Officers surrounded the vehicle and pulled the driver out.The driver was removed from the scene on a stretcher. 872
