SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A woman says her ,000 custom road bike was stolen from her driveway last weekend while she was getting ready to go for a ride.Josie Fouts is a cyclist who recently competed with Team USA at the Para Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru.Due to the amputation of her left hand at birth, her bike requires custom elements including a modified handle and special braking mechanism.The frame is black and blue Fuji Supreme.Fouts said she had left the bike on her driveway on Saturday, Sept. 14 while she was getting ready to go on a ride. The group says increased radiation is extremely harmful and can lead to seizures and heart failure.The city of San Diego accounted their 5G partnership with Verizon in April. The deal adds 0 million of infrastructure including new equipment cells on city-owned light poles. Police say the increased smart technology can help increase safety. Protesters today disagree."There’s no safety testing for this plan at all," said Susan Brinchman with the Center for Electrosmog Prevention. "I know why they didn’t do the testing, because there’s no way to safely implement this. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Almost 2,000 people gathered in San Diego to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Friday at the 38th annual Human Dignity Award breakfast in Mission Valley. “He fought and gave his life not just for African Americans but for everyone,” said Dee Sanford, this year’s honoree. Sanford stared a telecommunications business in 1994, was an adjunct professor at colleges, and created public access television and radio stations. “You don't do it for honor but when someone remembers and acknowledges your work, it’s really a humbling experience,” she said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Amid high demand for sanitizer, several San Diego distilleries are changing their production process to lend a hand.Distillers like Oceanside's Pacific Coast Spirits, and Cutwater Spirits and Malahat Spirits in Miramar are changing their production output to sanitizer to help address the local shortage."This doesn't impact production too much as it is alcohol based and is similar to running any 'batch' of spirits," says Nicole Hammond, of Pacific Coast Spirits.
