VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Authorities have identified a man and a woman found dead inside a Vista home Sunday afternoon.The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department says Della Astorga, 69 and her husband Alfredo Astorga, 76, both died of gunshot wounds.The department has ruled the incident a murder-suicide.RELATED: Man, woman found dead inside Vista homeDeputies said a man called 911 from inside the home located on the 800 block of Warmlands Avenue around 1 p.m. Sunday.When deputies arrived, they found both Della and Alfredo dead inside the home. WASHINGTON — As President Donald Trump continues to press his argument that the vote was rigged against him, the machinery of government and democracy is moving inexorably toward Joe Biden's presidency.As U.S. District Judge put it this week in throwing out a lawsuit challenging Biden's win in Michigan: "This ship has sailed."Trump has refused to recognize that fact and vows to press on with his challenges. On Wednesday, Trump tweeted a call to "#OVERTURN" the results of the election and has continuously tweeted baseless claims that he was the winner.But Biden is firmly on track to become president Jan. 20, after having won a decisive majority of the electoral vote.As of Tuesday, nearly every state has now certified the results of their elections, a process known as "safe harbor." With Biden's win certified, the electoral college will formally recognize Biden's win on Dec. 14.The Trump campaign and other Republicans continue to file lawsuits attempting to overturn election results on widespread fraud claims. But none of those lawsuits have proved any systematic fraud or consequential error in U.S. voting systems.Trump has also not been helped by the newly-conservative Supreme Court and the hundreds of federal judges that he's appointed. Virginia voters elected the nation's first openly transgender candidate to the Virginia House of Delegates on Tuesday.Danica Roem unseated incumbent delegate Bob Marshall, who had been elected thirteen times over 26 years, according to Marshall's website.As of 9:07 p.m. ET, Democratic candidate Roem had 54.59% of the votes to Marshall's 45.36%, with 19 of 20 precincts reporting, according to the Virginia Department of Elections."Tonight, voters chose a smart, solutions-oriented trans leader over a divisive anti-LGBTQ demagogue -- sending a powerful message to anti-trans legislators all across the nation," said Aisha C. VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Neighbors in the 700 block of Lemon Avenue in Vista say they were stunned as they watched a landlord pull out a pistol and start shooting at his tenant.Neighbors tell 10News there have been screaming matches at the home in the past. They say the landlord had been trying to evict a tenant who was living in the garage. The neighbors did not wish to share their names out of fear for their family's safety.The watch commander said they received a 9-1-1 call around 6 p.m. when the first shot was fired. Deputies arrived and investigated, then left when they couldn't find the landlord.Around 7:50 p.m. the landlord returned and, according to the watch commander, fired several shots at the tenant.Neighbors said it sounded like fireworks. They said they saw the landlord cocking his pistol, they believed it jammed.A video provided to 10News by neighbors shows deputies with rifles drawn approaching the home.They arrested the landlord and his associate.Details on the man, the associate, the tenant and the charges are not currently known. 1070
