SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A woman died after crashing into a tree in Mira Mesa Sunday morning. According to California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving north on I-15 when she veered off the road, striking a tree and a light pole near Carroll Canyon Road around 1:18 a.m. The woman died at the scene, according to CHP. The agency says a man was riding in the passenger seat at the time of the crash. He was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. A wreath hanging on the side of her home was on the ground. A lighted garland was cut and left in her yard. It's not right and it's very grinchy," said Butler.Surveillance video reveals the culprit: a man walking barefoot on her patio railing, yanking down her lights. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A virtual job fair for Camp Pendleton Marines, their spouses, veterans, and members of the reserve and guard is set for Thursday.Organizer RecruitMilitary says more than 35 employers will attend, and more than 400 job seekers have already signed up. The jobs run the gamut from full to part-time, telecommuting, and include local and national employers. The City of Carlsbad and the San Diego County Sheriff's Department will be there recruiting. Other employers include Northrop Grumman, ADT, Spectrum and Eli Lilly. "We have employers that have made the transition themselves," said Jennifer Hadac, a Navy veteran organizing the fair for RecruitMilitary.
