BUDAPEST, April 12 (Xinhua) -- A plane from southern China's Shenzhen landed here on Sunday morning, carrying 1,365,000 protective masks, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto announced on his Facebook account.
Chinese Ambassador to BiH Ji Ping handed over the donation to Ankica Gudeljevic, Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH.
He also suggested making full use of mechanisms such as the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization and leveraging the APT Macroeconomic Research Office to strengthen crisis preparedness.
The ministry, together with the General Administration of Customs and the National Medical Products Administration, will issue an announcement requiring that exported medical supplies must obtain relevant qualifications and meet the quality standards of the importing country or region, it said.
Xi also required efforts to reinforce the national surveillance network for major epidemics, improve the legal and regulatory system, promote the research of cutting-edge technologies and cultivate top-notch professionals to raise the country's ability to respond to major public health emergencies.
