(KGTV) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized more than million worth of narcotics in a single vehicle stop this week.CBP says officers stopped a 55-year-old driver at about 4 a.m. at the Calexico Port of Entry and referred the driver to a secondary inspection, where an x-ray imaging system identified anomalies in the vehicle.A search of the vehicle turned up 20 packages of fentanyl weighing 48 pounds, and 121 packages of methamphetamine weighing 517 pounds hidden in the floor, gas tank, seats, and spare tire.The driver was arrested and turned over to Homeland Security officials. 628

Carlos Ghosn and Nissan, the Japanese automaker he saved from collapse, were indicted Monday on allegations of financial misconduct, deepening a crisis that already brought down one of the global car industry's most iconic figures.Tokyo prosecutors said they indicted Ghosn and Nissan for under-reporting his income over a five-year period and are investigating allegations that the practice went on for even longer.Ghosn's sudden downfall began when he was arrested in Tokyo last month. He has since been ousted as chairman of Nissan (NSANY) and Mitsubishi Motors (MMTOF) and temporarily replaced as head of France's Renault (RNSDF).Former Nissan director Greg Kelly, who was arrested in Tokyo at the same time as Ghosn, was also indicted Monday, prosecutors said. 783

We offer video lottery at bars and restaurants throughout the state and by far that’s our highest revenue product and literally overnight when bars and restaurants shut down, that revenue line went to zero," said Matt Shelby with Oregon Lottery. Kessler said, "they could buy them out 20 draws in advance. So, they could be safe and stay in the game at the same time. That was really our message that we tried to get out to our players and players really did respond. We saw quite an increase in our subscription services, which is where you can buy for six months or for an entire year and know that those numbers are set."While most lottery departments have been established for decades, that's not the case in Mississippi. "We hadn't been up and running for a year. We’re still in the building process and we have layers to complete. When COVID-19 hit we had about half of a business continuity plan and it hadn’t been completed," said Mississippi Lottery President Tom Shaheen. While the Mississippi Lottery saw an initial drop in sales, in April things started to pick back up. CANTON, Ohio -- An Ohio police department is investigating three separate homicides that happened within 24 hours, including the death of a 1-year-old twin boy who was shot and killed while sleeping.Police in Canton, which is about 60 miles south of Cleveland, say the first homicide happened on Tuesday at around 8:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Louisiana Court Northwest. A 31-year-old man, identified as Ronald Pleasant, was shot and killed at the scene. A 21-year-old man was shot and taken to a nearby hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.The second homicide happened in the 100 block of Pulley Place SE at around 10:43 p.m. A 20-year-old man, identified as Brandon Bush, and another 20-year-old man, were both shot. Both were transported to local hospitals by the Canton Fire Department. Bush died from his injuries.The third homicide happened at around 2:28 a.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Clarendon Avenue SW. One-year-old twin brothers were shot while sleeping inside a home on Clarendon Avenue. Both were transported by the Canton Fire Department to local hospitals where one of the brothers, identified as Ace Lucas, died.
