SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police Friday arrested a fugitive sex offender from New York who was reportedly spotted in the area this week.Dale Dulac, 57, was arrested just after 1:40 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Imperial Ave. peacefully. Dulac was reported in the area after fleeing New York and violating his parole.He was charged with felony vehicle theft and receiving stolen property by San Diego Police. According to the United States Marshals Service, Dulac was also being held on a fugitive warrant for violating his parole when he left Niagara Falls, New York, on Sept. 20. 596

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police have identified the man shot and killed near a downtown parking garage in early December as 37-year-old Samuel Burkhalter.The shooting happened on the 1400 block of G Street around 10 p.m. on December 1.Police say they received several calls reporting gunshots in the area. After arriving, officers found Burkhalter at the entrance to a parking garage in the area. Officers provided first aid until relieved by San Diego Fire-Rescue, but say Burkhalter died at the scene.Investigators say a light-skinned man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a black hat was seen running through the garage after the shooting. The suspect was later identified as Tyler Cosby, 23. County officials say it’s important to be prepared because topsoil, mud, plant material, and debris can clog culverts and storm drains and damage roadways.
