A man and woman accused of performing a sex act on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Detroit tried to hide the act with a blanket, according to the police report from the Wayne Metro Airport Police Department.WXYZ obtained the police report from a Freedom of Information RequestThe 48-year-old woman from California and the 28-year-old man were sitting next to each other in row 26 on the Delta flight on Oct. 29. The FBI was called in after the incident and each received a ticket.According to one witness, the man and woman were kissing and foreplaying before the woman allegedly performed oral sex on the man."I felt bad for the guy beside but I guess he was sleeping," the witness said in the police report.According to the report, the man and woman were in seats 26D and 26E respectively, and the woman switched her seats to sit next to the man.The man in the case told police that she had fallen asleep in his lap, but there was no sexual intercourse. He said he "grabbed her breasts on the outside of her clothes."Police said the woman was intoxicated with bloodshot, red eyes and the smell of alcohol coming off of her. She also told police she fell asleep in his lap and nothing more.According to the report, a passenger informed the flight attendant about the man and woman.Another witness said she went to the row and saw the woman performing oral sex on the man."I asked the lady to sit straight up. She was bobbing her head up and down while he was holding her down," they said. "They had a blanket partially covering the act."Both passengers were ticketed and allowed to go on their way. A Highlands County deputy has died after being shot in the head in Lake Placid on Sunday evening. Deputy William Gentry was responding to a neighborhood dispute involving a cat that allegedly had been shot by 69-year-old Joseph Edward Ables.The sheriff's office said Gentry went to speak to Ables when the suspect shot the deputy.Gentry was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital.“William is an experienced law enforcement officer and serves as one of our Field Training Deputies,” Sheriff Paul Blackman said. “His brother is one of our detectives. This is an unimaginable tragedy for our agency. A black bear that traveled across several states and garnered a large social media following has been rescued and transported to safety by the Missouri Department of Conservation.According to department officials, the bear traveled through Wisconsin, Illinois, and Missouri before finding himself trapped between two highways in Wentzville, Missouri.“The bear found itself in a tough spot, stuck by several major roadways,” said MDC State Furbearer Biologist Laura Conlee. “Due to the proximity to the roadways, coupled with the busy travel day, MDC staff determined the bear had little chance of safely leaving the area on its own. In the interest of public safety and the bear’s safety, MDC staff made the decision to immobilize the bear and transport it to a nearby area of suitable bear habitat outside this urban corridor.”Bruno was sedated and then was released unharmed when he awoke, MDC staff said.Social media users had dubbed the black bear Bruno after he was first spotted back in June, officials said in the press release.In a press release, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources said Bruno likely traveled the long distance in search of a mate. 1173

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to fully restore the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program Friday and accept new applicants for the first time since 2017, according to media reports.A judge with the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn told the Department of Homeland Security to post a public notice by Monday that states they will accept DACA petitions from immigrants who qualify and are not currently enrolled.The judge also instructed DHS officials to grant approved applicants work permits that last two years, and not the one year limit the Trump administration had proposed, according to CBS News."DHS is DIRECTED to post a public notice, within 3 calendar days of this Order, to be displayed prominently on its website and on the websites of all other relevant agencies, that it is accepting first-time requests for consideration of deferred action under DACA, renewal requests, and advance parole requests, based on the terms of the DACA program prior to September 5, 2017, and in accordance with this court's Memorandum & Order of November 14, 2020," the judge wrote.The Trump administration tried to end DACA in 2017, but the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against him in June 2020.
