He testified he fired several shots "to stop the immediate threat that was coming at me."The case originally went to a jury but was declared a mistrial in 2017 because a unanimous verdict couldn’t be released.Family of the victims in the shooting have reportedly agreed to the plea deal as well. Firefighters are battling a massive blaze at a warehouse in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood.The fire was reported Saturday night and has impacted multiple structures in the area, said Seattle Fire Public Information Officer Kristin Tinsley.When firefighters arrived, they saw flames as high as 50-75 feet, Tinsley said.One warehouse has collapsed but no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known, officials said.The building where the fire started is believed to primarily house lumber, Tinsley said.She told CNN affiliate KIRO-TV that crews were fighting the fire defensively, meaning they were not entering any of the structures that were burning. 694

Following the recent death of a fraternity pledge, Florida State University has banned all fraternities and sororities.Tallahassee, Florida police said Pi Kappa Phi pledge Andrew Coffey, 20, died at an off-campus chapter party on Friday, Nov. 3. Investigators collected alcohol bottles at the scene but have not released an official cause of death for Coffey.
