NANCHANG, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, visited Tantou Village in Yudu County, Ganzhou City, during an inspection tour of east China's Jiangxi Province on Monday afternoon.
Yan Ligang, the fair's spokesperson, said 11 venues saw more than 400,000 visits by participants from 137 countries and regions and 21 international organizations.
The meeting called for efforts to support local governments and competent departments in proposing deeper reforms under their portfolio of responsibilities, trying the reforms out in the pilot zones, and working to see that all reforms and innovations be part of a systematic whole.
He also vowed to maintain an objective and unbiased attitude in carrying out his work and strengthen communication and coordination with China.
He added that he is confident that China and the DPRK, by taking the opportunity of the visit, will jointly blueprint a bright future of the bilateral relationship and open a new chapter of the China-DPRK friendship.
