What we need is strength and some resolve that we haven't seen yet,” said former Vice President Joe Biden.In an interview, candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders renewed calls for an assault weapons ban but acknowledged uwpards of 10 million are already in civilian hands. “That is more than the United States military has,” Sanders said. "We have to immediately ban the sale and distribution; I think we ought to take a hard look about licensing these weapons for the people who own them."Sanders added a buyback program would also be an option.Sen. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Harbor Police are investigating after a boat caught fire early Sunday morning in the San Diego Bay.The department tweeted around 5 a.m. about the fire at Marina Cortez.According to police, a good Samaritan helped put out the fire before units arrived on scene. The person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown. 393

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Fire crews battled a small fire that threatened structures in Del Dios Thursday afternoon. According to Cal Fire, the blaze started in the area of Del Dios Highway and Toyon Canyon Road on the west side of Lake Hodges. The fire burned roughly three acres and threatened two structures before fire crews were able to stop the forward rate of spread.
