(KGTV) -- Two brothers have been arrested in a string of North County burglaries that occurred earlier this year, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday.On June 11, Daron Davon Turner, 38, and his half-brother, Daren Tyrone Turner, 25, were arrested in Poway for the burglaries.Authorities say an investigation connected the brothers to multiple residential burglaries. After searching several locations in Los Angeles County, authorities found several stolen guns related to the case.Daron is currently facing 10 felony counts of burglary while Daren faces five felony counts of burglary. Turner’s mother, girlfriend and uncle also have possible connections to the case.Their cases have been submitted to the District Attorney’s office, authorities say. Popular digital marketplace Groupon has changed its cancellation policy after some people complained it was too restrictive.Before, once you purchased something in the marketplace, you had 24 hours to cancel your purchase. However, some businesses changed their hours of operation or how many people the business could support at once thanks to the pandemic, so customers would be losing their money on these purchases.Now, Groupon offers customers 72 hours to cancel any purchases, just in case. Even with the extended grace period though, some say it's still a good idea to call ahead and double-check how a business is operating."Figuring out what the business looks like, have their hours been affected, are they temporarily closed because of COVID and if they are open it’s not a bad idea to call and see if they are honoring the group because so many businesses are being affected by COVID," Sara Kemerer, a Tri-State public relations specialist with the Better Business Bureau, said to WCPO.On its coronavirus update page, Groupon said if your voucher was extended past its expiration date, you'd receive an email with the new expiration date.Groupon also said you can check your My Groupons on your account to see if the expiration date has been extended. (AP) — Police in Prescott Valley say a woman has been arrested in California in a custodial interference case.They say 36-year-old Erica Chantle Lunsford of Prescott Valley was being held on suspicion of kidnapping and unlawful use of a means of transportation.She remains in custody in California pending extradition to Arizona. Police say they were notified of a possible kidnapping involving a child around 1 p.m. Saturday.They say the victim reported her daughter had taken her vehicle without permission along with the two children, ages 5 and 10. Police say the victim is the custodial parent of the 10-year-old child.The California Highway Patrol located the stolen vehicle in Indio, arrested the suspect and recovered the children. 770
