And it's even more evident when looking at a new ranking from the Brewers Association.The non-profit trade group that represents small and craft breweries recently released its annual list of top brewers in the U.S., based on beer sales. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Several North County residents felt their homes and businesses rattle briefly after a loud boom Friday.The noise and shaking were reported at about 1:30 p.m., according to San Diego Sheriff's Department. Deputies in the North County received calls from Vista about the noise. 10News also fielded several calls from Oceanside and San Marcos over the incident.USGS did not register any major earthquakes in the region Friday, according to the agency's website. At about 1:31 p.m., USGS recorded a 1.6-magnitude earthquake with a depth of about 5 miles in the Ocotillo Wells area, about 100 miles east of Oceanside.Camp Pendleton was scheduled to perform exercises involving mortar fire and high explosive munitions, according to a noise advisory statement, and finish its Exercise Iron Fist training alongside Japanese armed forces on base Friday. However, a spokesperson for Camp Pendleton told 10News the base was on normal operations Friday.The base's website advises that, "depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away." SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police say the man shot in an officer-involved shooting downtown last weekend has died from his injuries.Leonardo Hurtado Ibarra, 25, died of his injuries at the hospital on Monday just before 10:30 p.m., SDPD said Tuesday.On Saturday, two officers in the area of 1200 6th Avenue saw Ibarra leaving a building and recognized him from a recent wanted flier regarding a robbery, according to SDPD. Police say the officers attempted to stop and talk with Ibarra but he began to walk away.RELATED: SDPD release surveillance video, body cam footage from officer-involved shooting in Downtown San DiegoPolice say Ibarra dropped the items he was carrying and "reached into his waistband." He drew an object and pointed it at an officer, prompting both officers to fire their service weapons, police added."He produced a handgun and then pointed it at the officers," said SDPD Capt. Rich Freedman over the weekend. "For fear that they were going to be shot, the officers return fire."Ibarra was hit at least once. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery and was placed in the ICU with life-threatening injuries.A loaded revolver wrapped in a bandana was recovered at the scene, but police have not determined if Ibarra fired the weapon at officers.The two officers involved, identified as Jonathon Lucas and Tevar Zaki, were not injured. Both officers have been with SDPD for about four years, according to the department. Experts say the longer the vessels stay, the harder it is for the cruise industry to bounce back.The Holland America Koningsdam returned to the Port of San Diego Wednesday morning. It is one of five cruise ships scheduled to dock at the Embarcadero for fuel and supplies. "So that's a good thing for the industry.
