PRAGUE, March 29 (Xinhua) -- China and the Czech Republic on Tuesday agreed to elevate their ties to a strategic partnership during Chinese President Xi Jinping's first state visit to the country, as the two nations inked a host of intergovernmental agreements to promote ties in various areas.
The two sides agreed to have more pragmatic cooperation in cyber security and anti-terrorism.
The Xi political economics has been evident in a number of speeches given by the president, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, during the two sessions, the annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee.
To ease traffic jams in the cities, China looks to expand public transport network such as buses and railways. By 2020, China aims to raise the penetration of public transport to 40 percent in megacities, 30 percent in big cities and 20 percent in medium- and small cities.
This willingness to share is also enshrined in China's new development concepts, which are innovation, coordination, green development, opening up and sharing.
