A couple reportedly tried to sneak into an iconic church in San Francisco to get married with dozens of their closest friends and family, and now several in the wedding party have Covid-19.The couple originally planned to marry earlier this year, and rescheduled for early July, multiple media outlets report. The couple planned to marry at Saints Peter and Paul Church, with roughly 100 invited guests.The guests were instructed to enter the church from an underground parking structure. Some of the pews were roped off, presumably to allow for social distancing.Representatives from the San Francisco City Attorney's Office were able to stop many of the guests from going inside the church after spotting them, and told them the event had to be held outside. San Francisco’s coronavirus health guidelines allow up to 12 people to gather outdoors if there's no food or drink.After being told to hold the ceremony outside, a large group moved to a nearby basketball court for the ceremony. Some guests watched the wedding on a video conferencing service from their cars, according to the Chronicle.However, now some are reportedly sick. The bride and groom, as well as at least eight other members of the wedding party tested positive for the coronavirus, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on Sunday, citing information from two guests.The San Francisco Archdiocese has already been warned about hosting large events and weddings, according to emails obtained by NBC Bay Area. 1487

A man and woman accused of performing a sex act on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Detroit tried to hide the act with a blanket, according to the police report from the Wayne Metro Airport Police Department.WXYZ obtained the police report from a Freedom of Information RequestThe 48-year-old woman from California and the 28-year-old man were sitting next to each other in row 26 on the Delta flight on Oct. 29. The FBI was called in after the incident and each received a ticket.According to one witness, the man and woman were kissing and foreplaying before the woman allegedly performed oral sex on the man."I felt bad for the guy beside but I guess he was sleeping," the witness said in the police report.According to the report, the man and woman were in seats 26D and 26E respectively, and the woman switched her seats to sit next to the man.The man in the case told police that she had fallen asleep in his lap, but there was no sexual intercourse. He said he "grabbed her breasts on the outside of her clothes."Police said the woman was intoxicated with bloodshot, red eyes and the smell of alcohol coming off of her. She also told police she fell asleep in his lap and nothing more.According to the report, a passenger informed the flight attendant about the man and woman.Another witness said she went to the row and saw the woman performing oral sex on the man."I asked the lady to sit straight up. She was bobbing her head up and down while he was holding her down," they said. "They had a blanket partially covering the act."Both passengers were ticketed and allowed to go on their way. Police took the woman back to get her luggage from Delta, and tried to get her rebooked, but she was told she was not allowed on Delta flights anymore. 1767

A gathering of supporters of President Donald Trump once again clashed with counter-protesters in Oregon on Monday, as the state continues to deal with political and civil unrest ahead of November's general election.Two people were arrested following Monday's skirmish. According to KGW-TV, Trump supporters initially gathered at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City for the "Oregon for Trump Labor Day Cruise Rally." Supporters of the President adorned their cars with campaign flags and made the short drive to Salem, Oregon. The Associated Press also noted that some participants displayed signs in support of the QAnon conspiracy theory.The vehicle parade made about an hour-long trip from Oregon City to Salem. The AP reports that most vehicles split from the group before arriving in Salem.In Salem, KGW reports that the group of about 150 was met by a group of about 50 Black Lives Matter protesters. At one point, the AP says the right-wing crowd "rushed" the Black Lives Matter protesters and fired paint pellets at them. The BLM protesters dispersed from the scene before police arrived to break up the rally.ABC News reports that among those Trump supporters who traveled to Salem were members of the Proud Boys, a right-wing group known for political violence.Monday's rally bore similarities to an Aug. 29 pro-Trump vehicle rally in Portland. During that rally, Trump supporters were seen on video spraying paint pellets and tear gas at peaceful protesters. Later, one Trump supporter, Aaron "Jay" Danielson, was shot dead by a left-wing counter-protester. The suspect in that shooting, Michael Forest Reinoehl, was shot and killed in Washington state Friday as U.S. Marshals attempted to take him into custody. 1738

A Clarksville teacher was charged with assault after an incident with a student during a field trip to Nashville was reported to police.According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, Robert Neitzke – a teacher at Clarksville Academy – was arrested after he allegedly grabbed a student by his throat and pushed him against a wall.The alleged incident happened on March 3 while a group of students were staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville. The police report said that Neitzke was the only adult on the trip.Around 11 p.m., Neitzke was reportedly trying to give students instructions for the next day and had to stop several times to get their attention. That’s when one of the students asked, “can we hurry this up,” and Neitzke allegedly approached the student and started to grab him. Police said Neitzke then said “it would be funny if your head hit the wall” before backing up and then grabbing the student by the neck before pushing him against the wall.The student told officers that he was able to say "get off me" and push him back. He told police that while he had no visible injuries, the squeezing of his neck caused “some discomfort.”Several other students were interviewed and all gave a very similar account of the incident, according to the report. Coronavirus testing was done on anyone who may have had contact with the product, and so far tests have come back negative, according to city officials.Authorities are tracing related products from the same brand that have already been sold, and have disinfected the area where the contaminated chicken wings were stored, according to CNN.The city warns people about buying imported frozen meat and aquatic products and to take steps to reduce the risk of contracting the coronavirus.The CDC and WHO say the chances of catching the coronavirus from food is low.“Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that handling food or consuming food is associated with COVID-19,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states on their website.However, they continue by stating it is possible a person could touch a surface that has the virus on it and then touch their mouth or nose, potentially spreading the virus.The CDC recommends safe food practices like washing hands after touching food packaging and food products, and cooking meat thoroughly. 1290
