SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The City of San Diego is planning on expand its designated scooter parking zones to Ocean Beach. The Mayor’s staff recently sent a list and map of 106 prospective locations to the Ocean Beach planning board. The scooter corrals are similar to the on-street parking the city has already installed downtown. The ‘Micro Mobility Parking Corrals’ - as the city calls them - are installed at red curb spaces that do not block traffic, fire hydrants or impede visibility. The Mayor’s office says it is working with community groups to find suitable locations in OB and they plan to have feedback by June 10th. 630

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The FBI is asking for the public’s help identifying the man who reportedly robbed a San Diego bank. According to the agency, the man robbed a U.S. Bank located inside a Vons grocery store at 665 Saturn Boulevard. The suspect reportedly approached the teller and made a verbal demand for cash, telling the employee he had a gun. The man made off with an unspecified amount of cash. Pictures show the man wearing a hooded Padres sweatshirt and mirrored sunglasses. He is described as a white or possibly Middle Eastern man in his late 20s or early 30s. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The all-clear was given after a suspicious device forced the evacuation of a building at San Diego City College Monday. The device was reported Monday afternoon in or near Building A, according to the school. The building serves as administrative offices. The college says no classes were affected by the evacuation.
