The community in Mayfield Heights, Ohio is mourning the loss of a 17-year-old student who died on Wednesday night. Steven "Stevie" Grieshammer was a junior on the swim team at Mayfield High School. On February 25 during swimming exercises he did not come up from the water, according to a Facebook post by his aunt Missy Bifro Grieshammer. "He was a wonderful boy, a loving son, a fantastic swimmer, and just the sweetest nephew we could have. The FBI held an unforeseen news conference on Wednesday to say that Iran and Russia have been leading a misinformation campaign ahead of this year’s election.Although the sudden nature of Wednesday’s news conference made the announcement seem urgent, intelligence community officials have been warning of interference by Iran, China and Russia for months.Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said that the countries obtained voter registration information, and then used that data to direct misinformation toward voters. Ratcliffe, along with FBI Director Christopher Wray, would not take any questions.Voter registration information is generally public information. Information like voters’ names, addresses and voting history are generally available nationwide. The Chardon (Ohio) Fire Department is investigating a school bus that was on fire overnight in the district's bus lot.Shortly after 5 a.m. on Thursday, an employee arrived at 355 Maple Avenue, where the bus lot is located, and noticed a bus had been burned in a fire. As a precaution, the fire department extinguished any hot spots. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire, but they said they believe it was set intentionally.A few other buses were parked nearby the burned bus, but they appeared unscathed.   575

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued recommendations for those looking to receive vaccinations during the pandemic.The CDC said that anyone who needs a vaccine, they recommend getting them at a medical home to "ensure that patients receive other preventive services that may have been deferred during the COVID-19 pandemic.""However, vaccination at locations outside the medical home may help increase access to vaccines in some populations or situations, particularly when the patient does not have a primary care provider or when care in the medical home is not available or feasible," the CDC said. The Florida Senate on Monday passed Senate Bill 7026, The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act — a bill that raises the minimum purchasing age for a firearm to 21 and sets a program that allows for armed librarians, coaches and counselors.The bill now moves to the Florida House.
