Two suspects allegedly dismembered a missing soldier's body and attempted to burn it after she was bludgeoned to death, according to a federal criminal complaint released Thursday.Guillen went missing from Fort Hood on April 22. Human remains were found in connection with her disappearance earlier this week.The two suspects in the case have been identified as Spc. Aaron Robinson and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Cecily Anne Aguillar of Killen, Texas.The Army has confirmed that Robinson died Wednesday morning of a self-inflicted gunshot wound during an interaction with police. Aguillar is currently in custody in the Bell County Jail.According to the affidavit, on April 22, Robinson said he texted Guillen to inform her he was in the arms room at Fort Hood. The message is the last known text message Guillen received to her phone.In the message, Robinson told Guillen to read serial numbers for equipment and afterword he gave her paperwork and the serial number for a .50 caliber machine gun that needed servicing.Robinson said Guillen left the arms room, and he believed she would have gone to the motor pool. Witnesses at the motor pool prepared to receive paperwork from Guillen claimed she did not arrive with the paperwork.The affidavit says witnesses later saw Robinson pulling a large "tough box" with wheels, that appeared to be filled with a heavy object.On June 30, Aguilar told authorities that Robinson told her that he had hit a female soldier in the head with a hammer multiple times in the arms room, killing her, the affidavit says. United Airlines announced Wednesday plans to return 25,000 flights systemwide during the month of August in hopes that more people will resume traveling. Despite the massive number of flights being added to the schedule, United said that it will only run 40% of the number of flights it ran in 2019 in August.Domestically, United plans on adding 600 flights, meaning it will run 48% of its US flights in August. United projects that only 30% of US flights will fly in July compared to 2019."We're taking the same data-driven, realistic approach to growing our schedule as we did in drawing it down at the start of the pandemic," said Ankit Gupta, United's vice president of Domestic Network Planning. "Demand is coming back slowly and we're building in enough capacity to stay ahead of the number of people traveling. And we're adding in flights to places we know customers want to travel to, like outdoor recreation destinations where social distancing is easier but doing so in a way that's flexible and allows us to adjust should that demand change."On Tuesday, Delta announced the addition of 1,000 flights systemwide in July. (KGTV) - The 12-year-old survivor of a plane crash in Valley Center is praising her uncle, the pilot who died in the crash.A smiling photo of Raquel Contreras was taken moments before her uncle, Peter Bierle, a seasoned pilot, took her up in his single-engine, experimental aircraft on an early Sunday evening. They were above the home of her friend for a birthday flyover when it happened. More than two weeks after the crash, Contreras spoke to us from her hospital room. She says some neighbors got an early warning."The plane hadn't even crashed, and they were getting ready because they heard engine failure," said Contreras.RELATED: Pilot killed, 12-year-old girl badly injured in small plane crash in Valley CenterA traumatized Contreras didn't want to talk about the crash, but her family says her uncle told her to, "Get down low and hold on."Witnesses saw the plane dive toward the yard, away from buildings, before it crashed."I want to honor Uncle Peter. It's amazing what he did, and I wouldn't be here if he didn't land and crash like he did," said Contreras.Bierle died at the scene. Dozens of neighbors rushed to the plane, burning fuel nearby."Just want to thank everyone on Palomar Vista Drive ... Amazing how everyone came together in the end," Contreras said.Contreras was cut out of seat belt and rescued.
