OCEANSIDE (CNS) - A fight between two men at a North County convenience store escalated Friday into a stabbing that left one of them hospitalized and the other under arrest, police said.The 9:30 a.m. fracas happened at the ampm [sic] minimart in the 1500 block of Melrose Drive, Oceanside police Lt. (KGTV) –Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man suspected in a string of incidents in Oceanside, including indecent exposure, peeping, and sexual assault.“He comes up and knocks on people’s doors, usually between the hours of 8 in the evening and 11, and exposes himself,” said Tom Bussey, public information officer for the Oceanside Police Department.“He has quite a few tattoos on the upper left arm and across his chest. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - A 7-year-old was found dead inside an Oceanside home Wednesday morning, leading to the arrest of her father, police say. According to Oceanside Police, the suspect's mother was called to the home on the 3500 block of Las Vegas Drive around 11 a.m. to pick up the suspect’s two children. When the woman went inside to pick up the children, she noticed blood on her son, Pedro Araujo, 27, police say. After leaving the home with one of the children, a 6-year-old girl, police say the woman called 911. Police arrived and, after searching through the home, found the body of the 7-year-old girl. Araujo was arrested and taken into custody, police say. "I'm shocked," said neighbor Tina Torres of the crime scene in her neighborhood.
