BEIJING, June 23 (Xinhua) -- China has invited foreign militaries to take part in a military parade this fall in Beijing marking the 70th anniversary of the victory in World War II.
The president called on the two countries to make concerted efforts to maintain the positive momentum in the development of bilateral ties and open new prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Also on Friday, the CPC issued a new regulation on the performance of officials, promising that ineptitude could result in demotion or dismissal. It also revised a regulation on discipline inspection, the first change since the rule came into force in 2009.
Noting that the three countries are good neighbors and strategic partners, Xi said trilateral cooperation has a strong basis and huge potential.
