LOGAN HEIGHTS (KGTV) - Police are investigating a stabbing in Logan Heights that left one man injured.The stabbing happened just before 6:20 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block on National Avenue near 30th Street.Police say the man was stabbed in an alley at least two times, once in the leg and once in the face.The man was transported to UCSD with non-life threatening injuries.There were no witnesses to the stabbing.Police say they are currently looking at cameras in the area to identify a suspect.Residents in the area told 10News that crime has been increasing in their neighborhood. 592

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A bout of overnight rain will have the potential to unleash rockslides, mudslides and minor debris flows in areas recently stricken by wildfires, National Weather Service forecasters said.The NWS said there's a chance of rain Wednesday evening, a virtual certainty of it after midnight amid southwest winds of around 15 miles per hour and a 50 percent chance on Thanksgiving morning, followed by a partly cloudy afternoon.Between seven-tenths of an inch and an inch-and-a-quarter of rain are expected to fall on coastal slopes and in the foothills, which could trigger slides over areas denuded by the Woolsey Fire in L.A. and Ventura counties and the Hill fire in Ventura County, forecasters said. Sixteen volunteers from the Wasdale mountain rescue team took turn carrying Daisy, a 121-pound (55 kilogram) St Bernard, from England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike. The mountain rescue team spent nearly five hours rescuing Daisy, who had collapsed while descending the mountain on Friday evening. Rescue workers say she was displaying signs of pain in her rear legs and was refusing to move. They administered some pain relief, adjusted their stretcher to be more dog-friendly and packed a few treats to help settle her down. LOS ANGELES (AP) — A judge in California has ordered immediate testing of all detainees and staff at an immigration detention center where COVID-19 was spreading for weeks while officials refused to test for the virus. The Los Angeles Times reports federal District Court Judge Vince Chhabria ordered the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to conduct quick-result testing of everyone in the Mesa Verde ICE Processing Facility in Bakersfield. LOS ANGELES (KGTV) – Two children inside an RV involved in an hours-long chase and standoff with a domestic violence suspect were safely recovered Tuesday night, authorities reported. The children in the vehicle are said to be 11-months-old and 3-years-old. Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The driver of the RV was involved in another pursuit in Santa Clarita that was canceled for safety concerns Tuesday, KABC reported.The chase started on surface streets but the suspect later entered the 101 Freeway followed by the 170.The suspect drove at normal speeds between 60 and 70 miles per hour.
