Several downtown Tulsa QuikTrip gas stations will be temporarily closed this weekend due to safety concerns."Due to the uncertainty and a very fluid situation, out of possible safety concerns for our employees, we will temporarily close some of our downtown locations," QuikTrip spokesman Mike Thornbrugh told KJRH.QuikTrip said the following locations were temporarily closing:15th and Denver23rd and Southwest Blvd15th and Lewis11th and UticaI-244 and Gilcrease Blvd21st and HarvardOfficials said all employees from these locations have been reassigned to other stores. This comes just days before President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence arrive in Tulsa for a rally downtown on Saturday.President Trump picked Tulsa as the location for his first campaign rally after the coronavirus outbreak across the United States. The rally is planned for the BOK Center with overflow going into the Cox Business Center, and both locations are in downtown Tulsa.Several supporters are already forming a line ahead of the rally. On Monday, Pres. Trump tweeted that almost one million people requested tickets for his "Make America Great Again" rally. On Tuesday, a Tulsa law firm filed a lawsuit to enforce masks and social distancing at President Donald Trump's rally this weekend. That lawsuit was denied. This story was first reported by KJRH. 1349

Seven years ago, a Pasco County, Florida family was torn apart when an out of control driver ran down a group of girls, killing a 5-year-old triplet. Now that family is being tormented all over again. In the years since Delaney Rossman was killed, her surviving sisters have still managed to thrive.“The girls are really good. They are 13 now; very active in the community, doing everything they can to be normal kids,” mother Danielle Malm said.Malm said right after the crash, many well meaning people reached out offering support.“It was wonderful. The condolences, and we appreciated everything that everybody had to say.But one of them has crossed the line.“She’s threatened the girls," Malm said. "She’s threatened us with death. She’s threatened my nieces.”Under different Facebook profiles the person has sent disturbing messages to Danielle and her family. One says “Delaney is DEAD. Hahahah.”Another says “I’m going to harm your family.”Other messages are just too vulgar to show.“The main thing is she’s been fixated on the fact that Delaney died and Gabrielle lived.”Danielle says the person even contacted the girl’s school trying to get more personal information. Blocking the harasser isn’t helping, because the person creates fake profiles posing as family. They send friend requests to everyone on Malm’s list. The family believes the person lives out of the country, but isn’t sure. “It gnaws at you. Where is this woman at? Why is she fixated on us today? Why won’t she just let it go?” she said.Facebook says to report anyone whose behavior is abusive and change privacy settings.Law enforcement can subpoena Facebook to try and track down someone making threats, but they admit, if the person is out of the country, there’s not much they can do. 1794

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he spoke with President Donald Trump from Vietnam about the Roy Moore situation, and will have "further discussions" with him when the President returns.McConnell said he believes the women who say that Moore pursued relationships with them when they were teenagers and while he was in his 30s. One woman said she was 14 years old when Moore initiated sexual contact with her. On Monday, a separate Alabama women alleged Moore sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager, and described her experience at a news conference, represented by attorney Gloria Allred."There's no question that there's a deep concern here," McConnell said Tuesday afternoon. "Roy Moore should step aside, the women who've come forward are entirely credible."Republicans across Congress have urged the GOP Alabama Senate nominee to abandon his bid, but he has shown no signs that he plans to drop out of the race. McConnell added Tuesday he has spoken about Moore with Vice President Mike Pence and White House chief of staff John Kelly.Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colorado, has said that Moore should be expelled if he ends up in the Senate -- something that requires a two-thirds majority vote and hasn't been done in 155 years. Gardner, head of the Senate Republican campaign committee, released a stunning statement, stating clearly that if Moore "refuses to withdraw and wins, the Senate should vote to expel him."Asked if he agrees with Gardner that Moore should be expelled, McConnell told reporters on Tuesday that Moore is "obviously not fit to be in the United States Senate."Still, Moore's name will appear on the Alabama ballot in December. If he is elected, the Senate will have to decide what to do next."We've looked at all the options to try to prevent that from happening," McConnell added. "Obviously this close to the election, it's a very complicated matter."The-CNN-Wire 1914

SHERMAN HEIGHTS, Calif. (KGTV) - A storage facility for homeless people to keep their belongings is at capacity, leading some people to call for expansion. The facility is in Sherman Heights, near 20th Street and Commercial. It opened in June of 2018 with room for 500 bins.It was full by Halloween. Now there is a 200 person waiting list. The city initially wanted to put 1000 storage bins in the warehouse, but pushback from neighbors led to a compromise of just 500.Neighbors worried that the facility would be a magnet for homeless people, drawing them to the area.Six months later, people who spoke to 10News say the opposite has happened. They still see homeless people in the area, but not any more than before the facility opened. They also say the amount of clutter on the streets and sidewalks has decreased dramatically.Crime has also gone down in the area. According to the crimemapping.com website, there were 188 crimes reported within 1500 feet of the facility in August of 2018. In December, that number had dropped to 73 (see chart above).Part of that is from extra police patrol. A recent police department report says that SDPD is spending nearly million on overtime to add patrols in the neighborhood of the facility.City officials told the San Diego Union Tribune they have no plans to expand the facility. But at a meeting last month at the University of San Diego, several homeless advocated said it's an idea worth looking into. 1460
