Bush said Sunday that he has extended congratulations to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on winning the 2020 presidential election, breaking with prominent members of his party in the process.In a statement released by the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the 43rd president said he is optimistic that Biden will help bring the country together."Though we have political differences, I know Joe Biden to be a good man, who has won his opportunity to lead and unify our country," Bush said in a statement. Fiat Chrysler is recalling 4.8 million vehicles over an issue that could prevent drivers from turning off cruise control.Only one incident related to the malfunction has been reported to Fiat Chrysler, and there are no reported injuries.The issue can be triggered when a driver taps on the gas pedal while cruise control is activated, the company said, potentially causing a short circuit.Related: Why the auto tariffs would be bad for AmericaWhen that happens, the vehicle can become locked in cruise control. The typical methods for exiting cruise control — tapping on the brakes or hitting the designated switch — can stop working. However, drivers would still be able to slow down or stop their vehicles by hitting the brakes, shifting into neutral or both.FCA is asking owners of the recalled vehicles to bring them into dealerships for a no-cost software update that can prevent the short circuit. FORT MYERS, Fla. —A man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to set a Planned Parenthood on fire in Fort Myers, Florida.The Lee County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that Everett Little was taken into custody after a search warrant was served at his home.The 20-year-old man is being charged with arson, criminal mischief, and using an incendiary device.Officers believe Little committed arson at the facility on Commerce Park Drive on Oct. 10.The act was caught on surveillance cameras and law enforcement distributed the photos of the suspect, asking the public for help locating him.In the end, authorities said they identified Little thanks to the community’s help."That act was caught on camera, and through Crime Stoppers, he's behind bars," said Sheriff Carmine Marceno in a statement on Facebook.
