Alec Baldwin has played a president on television and now he says he could be one.The actor, who is well-known for portraying Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live," tweeted Tuesday: "If I ran for President, would you vote for me?"He then followed that up with a pretty lofty campaign promise."I won't ask you for any $," Baldwin tweeted. "And I promise I will win."Since making promises that may or may not be kept is pretty standard for politicians, it sounds like Baldwin at least knows how the game is played."Beating Trump would be so easy," he concluded his tweet. "So easy. So easy."To say there is no love lost between Baldwin and the current President of the United States is an understatement.Baldwin has been a long-time critic of Trump and "SNL" has come under fire from the president for Baldwin's less than flattering portrayal of him."Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC!," Trump tweeted in February. "Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!" 1153

A new court document submitted last week in a lawsuit filed by Sandy Hook families against right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones sheds light on some of the inner workings of Infowars, the fringe and fairly opaque media company Jones operates. The document, which was filed in a Connecticut court on Wednesday, includes depositions taken in May from four employees of Free Speech Systems, the parent company of Infowars. One of the associates deposed is Jones' father, Dr. David Jones, who is the manager of human resources at Free Speech Systems. The depositions emphasized how lucrative it has been for Jones to sell products in his online store, and offered a glimpse into how being banned by social media companies like Facebook and Twitter has affected the business. The depositions also painted Infowars as an organization run entirely by Jones.Jones, who had said the Sandy Hook school shooting was staged, is being sued for defamation by the families of victims in 986

A proposed bill introduced by Missouri Rep. Andrew McDaniel would require all Missouri state residents to own an AR-15 rifle. House Bill 1108, or the McDaniel Militia Act, proposes that every resident of the state of Missouri "shall own at least one AR-15 rifle."A resident, the language in the proposed bill states, is someone who is "18 years of age or older and under 35 years of age" who is not prohibited by law from possessing a fire arm. "Any person who qualifies as a resident on August 28, 2019, and who does not own an AR-15 shall have one year to purchase an AR-15. Any resident qualifies as a resident after August 28, 2019, and does not own an AR-15 shall purchase an AR-15 no later than one year after qualifying as a resident," language in the bill states. The proposed bill does not state if there will be any repercussions for residents who do not purchase an AR-15. To read more about House Bill 1108, 932
