A Texas man has been arrested after police said he was searching the dark web for a young girl to kill and to eat.Alexander Nathan Barter, age 21 of Shelby County, Texas, is in police custody ... he allegedly told an undercover officer of his plan, KTRE television station reports. He allegedly wrote a post on the dark web seeking others to help him commit necrophilia and cannibalism, KTRE reports. He gave two encrypted email addresses, and a special agent working undercover contacted him.The agent told Barter he had a daughter he could kill, and when Barter went to meet who he believed would be an accomplice and his "daughter," he was arrested.Barter is in jail and faces charges of criminal solicitation, criminal attempt: capital murder, conspiracy to commit capital murder and criminal attempt: sexual performance on a child, all felonies, KTRE?reports. 882

A Virginia man says he was fired from his job at a shipyard for refusing to remove a hat supporting President Donald Trump. The Virginian-Pilot reports that Dave Sunderland was fired last week from Newport News Shipbuilding. The private firm builds the nation’s aircraft carriers and some of its submarines. Sunderland said the human resources department said he violated a policy that bars yard workers from “campaigning” while on the job. Sunderland wore the hat as he walked from his car to his work area inside the gates, and sometimes during a safety meeting at the beginning of his shift. A spokesperson for Newport News Shipbuilding says the company doesn't allow political campaign or partisan political activities on company property. 751

A trip to "The Happiest Place On Earth" turned into a nightmare, according to an Inland Empire woman who spent two nights at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. Ivy Eldridge was a guest at the hotel back in April, when she claims she was bitten by bed bugs, suffering physical, financial and emotional damages, according to a complaint filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Eldridge has hired attorney Brian Virag, who specializes in bedbug litigation, to bring a lawsuit against the hotel, along with the Walt Disney Co. and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Virag claims that Eldridge was bitten all over her upper body, including her face, ears, arm, neck and back. "People put trust in the Disney name and pay top dollar to stay at the Disneyland Hotel," Virag said. "In this case, Ms. Eldridge's trust was betrayed." Virag is also currently representing Victoria's Secret model Sabrina Jales St. Pierre, in a bed bug related lawsuit being brought against Embassy Suites Palm Desert. "Bed bugs don't discriminate," Virag said. "They are found in hotels throughout the country and worldwide. A request from children is changing the future of LEGO kits. The company announced they will be phasing out their single-use plastic bags used to separate parts of their kits beginning next year.“We have received many letters from children about the environment asking us to remove single-use plastic packaging. We have been exploring alternatives for some time and the passion and ideas from children inspired us to begin to make the change,” stated CEO Niels Christiansen in a company release.The toymaker has set a goal of making all of their packaging sustainable by the end of 2025. Beginning in 2021, they will look at using recyclable paper bags in their kits.Testing has already taken place, and LEGO says kids liked the paper bags because they were environmentally friendly and easy to open.Other LEGO products will be getting an environmentally friendly makeover in the future, too. The company said it is testing blocks made from sugar cane and other sustainable materials. 992
