Walt Disney World has announced that the 2020 'Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party' at Magic Kingdom is canceled amid coronavirus concerns.Poor Jack Skellington, but at least there's Christmas, right? Well, maybe.Looking even further ahead, Disney said they are monitoring conditions for 'Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party' and the 'EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays,' including the Candlelight Procession. A decision on those events will be made later.Disney hopes to open the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks on July 11, followed by Hollywood Studios and Epcot on July 15, but with new safety guidelines and limited crowds.The theme park will require employees and guests to wear masks and get temperature checks at park entrances.In order to keep capacity down, guests will need to make a reservation for park entry in advance. Louie Gohmert has tested positive for the coronavirus.The 66-year-old Texas Republican was screened for the virus at the White House on Wednesday morning.Gohmert had gone to the White House because he was planning to fly to Texas with President Donald Trump aboard Air Force One. WASHINGTON (AP) — Government scientists have classified 18 U.S. volcanoes as "very high threat" because of what's been happening inside them and how close they are to people.The U.S. Geological Survey has updated its volcano threat assessments for the first time since 2005. The danger list is topped by Hawaii's Kilauea , which has been erupting this year. The others in the top five are Mount St. Helens and Mount Rainier in Washington, Alaska's Redoubt Volcano and California's Mount Shasta ."This report may come as a surprise to many, but not to volcanologists," said Concord University volcano expert Janine Krippner. "Once you move down into the high and moderate threat (volcanoes), it gets even dicier."The USGS said a dozen volcanoes have jumped in threat level since 2005. Walmart will roll out a new website next month.The nation's largest retailer announced Tuesday that its redesigned site will offer more personalization, include more vibrant colors and a cleaner design, and feature "relatable photography that showcases real-life moments."The homepage will include a new section that showcases top-selling items in a customer's location. It will also offer specialty shopping experiences, such as the Lord & Taylor flagship online store which is launching this spring. It's taken aim at Amazon by offering free shipping without a membership fee for most purchases of or more.
