According to the agency, Bush once shaved his head to support a Secret Service agent’s son who’d been diagnosed with leukemia. According to the agency, the security detail all planned to shave their heads to show support for the 2-year-old diagnosed with the cancer. (WXMI) — An 11-year-old girl in Ionia is spreading Christmas cheer and collecting gifts to give to children with long-term hospital stays.Over the past week, hundreds of boxes have been stacking up in 11 year-old Mchalie Walter’s garage.“The first time we got a ton of packages it made me really happy,” Mchalie said.Mchalie is overjoyed and she won’t even be the one opening the presents.RELATED: East County family's Santa treehouse helps families in needMchalie is collecting them for kids at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — University of Notre Dame students are now subject to mandatory coronavirus testing with stricter penalties if they leave town before getting their test results after thousands of fans stormed the football field and threw parties to celebrate a double-overtime upset over Clemson.Notre Dame President, the Rev. John Jenkins, said in an email Sunday that students must undergo coronavirus testing before leaving South Bend, Indiana, for the winter break.Jenkins says if a student is exposed or tests positive, they must quarantine on campus for two weeks. Students who don't complete the test can't register for classes.According to the Associated Press, students will face "severe sanctions" if they host a large gathering.As of Monday afternoon, the university's online COVID-19 dashboard showed six new cases reported on Sunday, giving the school 1,382 total positive cases among students and staff members. Of that total, the school estimated 221 active cases.In a resolution passed Thursday, Notre Dame's Faculty Senate formally expressed disappointment in Jenkins for failing to wear a mask at Amy Coney Barrett's nomination ceremony at the White House Rose Garden, the AP reported. Iran has issued an arrest warrant for President Donald Trump and 35 other people in connection with a U.S. drone strike that killed a top Iranian military commander earlier this year.CNN and NBC both confirmed the reporting of Fars, an Iranian news outlet.Both CNN and NBC say Iran asked Interpol for help in apprehending Trump. In a statement issued to CNN, Interpol said it "would not consider requests of this nature" and said it was against the organization's constitution to "undertake any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character."Iran says it wants to press charges against Trump after he ordered the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, a general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in January. Soleimani's death sparked massive protests against American imperialism in Iran and heightened tensions in the region.The Pentagon claims that the unit directed by Soleimani is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans.Trump ordered the drone strike that killed Soleimani after days of riots at the American Embassy in Iraq. The U.S. claims the riots were backed by the Iranian government.Following Soleimani's death, Iran fired rockets near an Iraqi military base where U.S. troops were housed. Though Trump reported at the time that no American troops were hurt, it's since been revealed that dozens of U.S. soldiers were treated for brain injuries.The same day of the rocket attack at the Iranian base, an airliner was shot down near Tehran, killing 176 people.
