(KGTV) -- A man was tackled in the middle of a Southern California Target store for reportedly taking pictures up women's skirts.According to Cypress Police, officers were notified that the man, later identified as Jorge Ibarra, 29, was taking pictures targeting women wearing skirts.The suspect then fled from the scene after being tackled to the ground by one of the women’s father. CORONADO (CNS) - The City of Coronado and The Port of San Diego closed the Grand Caribe Shoreline Park Thursday until further notice, citing public health orders during the ongoing pandemic.The port had reopened the park in May, but because of heavier-than-usual use at the park -- which abuts Chula Vista on the bayside of the Coronado Cays -- it has become challenging to enforce social distancing for visitors."However, due to heavier than normal use, enforcement of the State and County’s health orders, which requires measures to ensure park visitors are social distancing from others, has become a challenge," a release from the port read.The park will be closed until gatherings are allowed without restrictions. "Closed" signs will be posted at the park, and the Coronado Police Department will assist the port with enforcement of the closure. 859

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Zoo and the owner of a local canoeing business helped rescue more than 50,000 honeybees thought to have been living in a garage since the early 1990s.The bees were about 2 miles from the zoo, in Avondale. Experts think the bees had been colonizing a garage wall for 25 years, entering and leaving through a small hole near a window.That long time period might explain the colony's large number: Honeybees typically live about three to four weeks, while the queen lives three to five years.Dirk Morgan, owner of Morgan's Canoe and Morgan's Natural Buzz Honey, used a specialized vacuum to safely suck up the bees for transport. The vacuum has a weak air flow, just enough to draw in the honeybees but not so strong they'd be harmed.He also carefully cut out the brood -- which has all the young, eggs and larvae -- and put it into a new hive. That's so the bees won't have a reason to return to the garage."When these bees end up at the zoo, they'll have a home where they'll be taken care of, we can use them for education, put them in an observation hive to show kids the miracle of a bee being born," Morgan said.Rather than reaching for bug spray, experts hope you'll call someone to have honeybees rescued if you find them on your property. Kari Bruskotter, member of the Butler County Beekeepers Association, said it's a win-win for professional beekeepers to remove a swarm: You get the hive out of your space at little to no cost, and they get "free bees."Although rates of colony collapse disorder, which devastated the global population of honeybees at the turn of the century, are declining, Bruskotter said, their numbers still haven't recovered. CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Warmer water temperatures are bringing out the stingray encounters in San Diego. Thursday afternoon, 12 more people were stung just days after a similar incident involving 10 to 15 people Tuesday. “I’m not used to the beach I come from Arizona so like this is actually happening,” said Angelo La Rosa, who is visiting from Arizona. “It felt like something was digging into my skin,” said 13-year-old Phoenix Stofa, who was one of at least a dozen stung Thursday. RELATED: 10 to 15 people stung by stingrays in Coronado“Yeah, yeah they don’t want to get stepped on and that’s their only defense mechanism and they have a barb,” said Sgt. Damon Bassett, a lifeguard in Coronado. Basset said he feels for those who get stung. “Anytime you get some nice weather and some warm water people don’t know to shuffle their feet. Then they can come in contact and get stung.”“Don’t walk on the water like you would on land,” Bassett added. A painful lesson for some, but still a day at the beach. “I just thought of the shark movies but it wasn’t a shark alert it was just a stingray.
