News helicopters in Philadelphia captured demonstrations turning into lawlessness as several people were seen breaking into businesses Tuesday evening.Philadelphia Police said that a crowd of approximately 1,000 people were looting a business in Philadelphia on Tuesday.The unrest began on Monday after Walter Wallace Jr., a 27-year-old Black man, was shot and killed by officers in Philadelphia. Pictures on Thursday announced that all of its 2021 film slate — including a new “Matrix” movie, “Godzilla vs. Kong” and the Lin-Manuel Miranda adaptation “In the Heights” — will stream on HBO Max at the same time they play in theaters. “No one wants films back on the big screen more than we do," said Ann Sarnoff, chief executive of WarnerMedia Studios in a press release. Nestle and Starbucks are teaming up to create a "global coffee alliance."Under the deal, Nestle will pay .2 billion to market, sell and distribute Starbucks' packaged products around the world, the companies said Monday.Nestle already has a significant presence in the coffee business with well-known brands like Nescafe and Nespresso. It's now adding Starbucks coffee and tea products to the list.The agreement only covers Starbucks' packaged goods sold outside the US company's stores. NEW YORK (AP) — Mall owners Simon Property Group and Brookfield Property Partners are close to a deal to buy department store chain, J.C. Penney, out of bankruptcy and keep the chain running. Penney's lawyer Josh Sussberg announced the tentative pact, which will save roughly 70,000 jobs, during a brief hearing in bankruptcy court Wednesday. More than 600 stores are expected to be saved, USA Today reported.According to the Wall Street Journal, Simon and Brookfield will own about 490 locations and a group of lenders will own 160 stores.Sussberg noted that a letter of intent including details of the pact will be filed with the bankruptcy court the next day.
