The article contains spoilers about the season 23 finale of "The Bachelor"It's the moment "Bachelor" fans have been waiting for, Colton Underwood handed out his final rose on "The Bachelor" finale Tuesday night. It was a suspenseful two-night finale for fans after Underwood was dumped by Cassie Randolph on Monday night's episode, leaving him with Tayshia and Hannah G. But in a shocking turn of events, Underwood turned around and said goodbye to both remaining women in order to ask Randolph for another chance.Underwood was able to chase Randolph down before she left Portugal and she agreed to meet his family and travel with him to Mallorca, Spain. They dated for a week and even had their night in the fantasy suite. But big questions still remained: Are they engaged? Did Underwood lose his virginity?Underwood and Randolph did get back together in Portugal and are still together. But they are not engaged, not living together and just taking things day by day. Underwood did reveal that he recently moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Randolph. As for whether Underwood lost his virginity, he and Randolph played coy and would only say they did what was "best" for their relationship. Host Chris Harrison took that as a yes.Although fans may have been disappointed that this season did not end in an engagement, Underwood did get a chance to hand out his final rose to Randolph during the live portion of the finale.Sometimes slow and steady wins the race, folks. 1484

A communication satellite almost out of fuel has gotten a new life after the first space docking of its kind. Northrop Grumman and Intelsat announced the successful docking nearly 22,500 miles above Earth on Wednesday. Northrop Grumman's satellite this week closed in on the aging Intelsat satellite and clamped onto it. The duo will remain attached for the next five years. The Intelsat satellite was never designed for this kind of docking, but officials said everything went well. Northrop Grumman envisions satellite refueling and other robotic repairs in another five to 10 years. 597

Virtual reality could soon play a role in helping during childbirth. Some women are watching relaxing scenery and listening to soothing sounds during labor with VR goggles. It’s part of the research being done at Cedars-Sinai, a medical center in Los Angeles. The research is being done to see if VR can help ease pain as labor gets more intense. “What we did find was that women found it very helpful,” says Dr. Melissa Wong, who specializes in OB/GYN and maternal fetal medicine at Cedars-Sinai. “That women were describing it … one of my favorite descriptions of it was a woman (who) spoke about it as being like a virtual doula." That's some of the early feedback from women who took part in the study.Wong says there were some women who found the headset isolating because you can’t see others. But she thinks VR could be useful, whether someone is using pain medication or not. “I think it has the potential for the woman who wants to defer her epidural,” Wong says. “And then the other thing is, there are women who also don’t get complete relief from an epidural or who still feel significant anxiety even after an epidural.”The full results of the study will include the pain management scores and will be released in February 2020. 1255

#MeToo is changing American culture and putting weight behind a call for change. The concept built to a movement in 2017 when the New York Times published major allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein. The movement gained steam as more women came forward.Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson is an associate professor of management at the University of Colorado Boulder. She studies workplace sexual harassment against women, among other things, and says #MeToo was a case of strength in numbers.“So the first accuser is always doubted and blamed right?” Johnson explains. “'What was she wearing? What did she do? She has a history of bad behavior.' But when the tenth accuser comes forward with the exact same story, you don't doubt."Johnson and her team started a workplace sexual harassment study in 2016 before the #MeToo movement caught on.The team asked women about their experiences in 2016 and followed up in 2018.They found women reported experiencing fewer sexually harassing encounters at work during those years when compared to earlier studies. The study also found that workplace sexual harassment had less of an impact on womens’ self-esteem and self-worth during that time.Johnson says it could be because the victims knew they weren’t alone."I think most women started to feel like, 'well this isn't really something about me’ or it's something about all women, right?” Johnson says. She adds, “If so many people are experiencing sexual harassment then it can't be something that I did. Unless we all as a gender are doing the same behaviors to deserve it."Despite progress, Johnson says there’s a long way to go.Her study found an increase in gender-based harassment during the study period.“(In) men and women who might have previously sexually harassed ... instead, they know 'I’m not supposed to sexually harass people, this is a big topic' but they're still engaging in the same negative treatment of women,” Johnson says. The #MeToo movement is shifting American culture in other ways, too.A third of workers say it made them change their behavior at work, according to a recent Associated Press poll. The movement is also sparking legal changes to things like non-disclosure agreements.Movement leaders say they aren’t done sparking change. They want to amend federal laws and create protections for victims who come forward. 2350
