Details emerged about what happened to a Port St. Lucie, Florida woman and her boyfriend, both found murdered in their homes in February. Both on an emotional and financial standpoint," Sheriff Mascara said. "It is very clear that Chip relied on Gabriele very immensely."Deputies also confirmed that Anderson worked with Legg in her painting business.“We don’t believe there was any sort of romantic relationship between them, but it’s clear that Gabriele was very important to Chip," said Mascara.The sheriff said Anderson lived with Legg and stayed in the house with her body for days. It is believed she was killed around Feb. 19."We believe she was killed in a bedroom. He kept her in that bedroom for sometime, and then dragged her through the house. Because of his heart condition, he couldn't make it all the way to the garage," said Mascara.Days later, Anderson then killed Legg's boyfriend, Gary Boice, in his own home by shooting him to death with Boice's own gun."Boice and Legg were in a relationship and were in the process of moving in together in Boice's home," said Mascara.Anderson stole Boice's car after the shooting, but as he drove away he suffered a heart attack."There was evidence that in the days after he stabbed Gabrielle, he went to the pharmacy to get heart medicine," said Mascara. Detectives also confirmed a motive."He was so angry about his emotional support system and financial support system leaving him, moving in with Gary Boice -- really they were kicking him to the sidewalk and didn't want him to be a part of this new relationship," said Mascara.According to the Sheriff, detectives found a .45 caliber Glock handgun on Anderson’s body and ballistics analysis has matched this gun to the casings found at Boice’s home.This case is now closed. 3310

DENVER, Colorado — Ask any Colorado teenager, and almost all will admit vaping is a problem among their peers."I think it's something that's pretty prevalent. To have 13-year-olds addicted to nicotine is pretty bad," said Colleen Campbell a senior at South High School."JUULing is the most popular one," said Abdi Bhandari, a senior at Mountain Vista High School.An epidemic that has even gotten Governor John Hickenlooper's attention. He recently signed an executive order to urge state lawmakers to act to curb youth vaping.Hickenlooper is asking them to raise the minimum age to buy e-cigarettes to 21 and to consider banning flavored tobacco."It is right now, one in four teenagers in Colorado that are vaping," Hickenlooper told students at a packed auditorium at South High School."It is becoming a huge national problem and it's even bigger locally," said Dr. Megan Moini, a pediatrician at Centura Health in Erie.Moini is on the front lines of the vaping debate and said she has seen more and more teens get addicted to vaping."Boulder County, for example, has about three times the national average of vaping use among high schoolers," she said.Moini also said she thinks it's time for the state to crackdown and believes teens are being fooled into thinking vaping is safe and natural."Hopefully, we're getting a hold of it sooner than we did with cigarettes," she said. Tate Reeves has invited local lawmakers and other officials to the state governor's mansion for Christmas parties in the coming days, according to Mississippi Today and the Washington Post.According to Mississippi Today, Reeves, a Republican, has issued executive orders that limit indoor gatherings to no more than 10 people, limit outdoor gatherings to 50 people and require the use of masks or facial coverings indoors for 54 of the state's 82 counties. Those orders include Hinds County, home of the state capital of Jackson and the governor's mansion.But despite those orders, Reeves has reportedly sent invitations to state and district elected officials throughout the state to attend three separate Christmas parties at the governor's mansion, including parties for both the state Senate and House of Representatives.While it's not known how many people are invited to each party, it would appear that more than 10 people would be attending. (KGTV) — Del Mar Fairgrounds and city officials met Tuesday to devise a traffic plan with one of the main arteries to the venue closed.Northbound Jimmy Durante Boulevard has been blocked off since a bluff collapse in late April.The road won't reopen until at least June 4, but the county fair opens May 31. "People are going to start going back through the neighborhood, or you're just going to sit in line," said Del Mar resident Jim Murff. Del Mar City Manager Scott Huth said plans include increased signage to instruct fairgoers to stay on Interstate 5 to the Via de la Valle exit. He said the city would also hire "flaggers" to direct drivers past the stop signs in its beachfront neighborhood, north to Via de la Valle. "Even with the flaggers that delay is not going to be as efficient as getting off (the freeway) at Via de la Valle," Huth said. Annie Pierce, a spokeswoman for the fairgrounds, said the fair would operate at least three days while northbound Jimmy Durante Boulevard is closed.
