SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police Chief David Nisleit tells 10news he's awaiting coronavirus test results for five police officers.Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the days remain busy for police, whether helping those in need, enforcing beach closures, or responding to calls. That means interactions with people who may have COVID-19."I'm waiting for results for five officers. The officers remain isolated right now. We've had some officers' tests come back negative, so that's great news," said Chief Nisleit.A police spokesperson told 10news officers have been self-reporting possible exposure, both on-duty and off-duty. A medical expert then determines if they should be tested. "We have some officers that are showing symptoms, and then we have some other officers that are isolated because they've been exposed," said Chief Nisleit. The precautions being taken by law enforcement across the county include sanitizing vehicles and social distancing, and if physical contact with the public is necessary, the use of masks, goggles and gloves. A spokesperson from Oceanside Police says they're doing more phone or online reports when possible. Dispatch and officers are also asking more questions about cold and flu-like symptoms.A video from the Chula Vista Department tells the public, "We may ask you to wear a mask." Starting Friday, Chula Vista Police will be taking an extra step. A spokesperson says they'll strongly suggest officers wear protective equipment for all interactions with the public closer than six feet. 10news reached out to law enforcement across the county. The Sheriff's Department, along with El Cajon, Chula Vista, Oceanside, and Carlsbad Police say none of their officers has tested positive. 1739

"Right now, he's probably in his PJs watching cable news, reaching for his cell phone/ In the middle of the night from the privacy of a gold-plated white toilet seat, he's writing Liddle Bob Corker, NFL and covfefe."Those are lyrics from Brad Paisley's fake remix of Carrie Underwood's smash hit, "Before He Cheats," which the pair performed to a laughing audience while hosting the 51st Annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville Wednesday night, where they mocked President Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and other political figures in a series of musical zingers."And it's fun to watch, yeah, that's for sure, until Little Rocket Man starts a nuclear war, and then maybe next time he'll think before he tweets," Paisley continued singing, poking fun at Trump's Twitter habits and the President's nickname for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. 861

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - New video reveals clues into a shootout that shook up a neighborhood in Clairemont Friday morning. At Broadlawn Street and Batista Street, the quiet was shattered just past 10 a.m., leaving neighbors like Julia Mauriello dumbfounded. "I heard a loud series of sounds I was not familiar with. I came out to find there was a gun battle on my street," said Mauriello. That morning, San Diego Police evidence markers revealed the location of the spent rounds. There were few clues about what happened, until now. A neighbor's Ring video obtained by 10News shows that in the 50 seconds before the shooting, a speeding black truck turns onto the street past a dark green sedan, which then begins to move.In the next video, the truck is stopped on the street. Not far away, someone emerges from the passenger side of the car and starts firing. After about six shots exchanged, the person gets back in the car. The car backs up and peels out.Another surveillance camera shows the truck racing out of the area, before returning, possibly to survey the damage. "So scary. This happened in front of my home. All of my children were on my lawn just an hour before the shots. This street is full of families," said Mauriello. If you have any information on either vehicle, call San Diego Police at 619-531-2000. 1326
