Needless to say, there isn't a lot of San Diego on the list -- with the exception of a No. 4 ranking for NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson on the "Most Dominant Athletes" list. As it happens, my career in San Diego sports media began in 1998, so I thought I'd take it upon myself to come up with a list of the best San Diego teams of the past 20 years. Unlike ESPN, which came up with complicated metrics to determine their lists, mine is completely subjective. "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek shared a Thanksgiving message in a video that was taped before his death on Nov. 8.The video was shot during the current season of "Jeopardy" and posted on the game show's social media channels Thursday morning. SAN DIEGO (KGTV)-- For the first time, we are hearing from the USPS mailman who survived a terrifying brush with death. Univision shared his hospital bed message on his road to recovery. He was on his normal route, making his normal deliveries. But in an instant, Romulo Ruiz's life changed forever. "Those brackets are holding my bones together," Ruiz said in Spanish. He went from totally healthy to bedridden after a horrific workplace accident. On September 12, 2019, the mail carrier was in National City, standing behind his truck. A man suffering a seizure behind the wheel struck Ruiz and pinned him against his vehicle. The wheels behind Ruiz continued to turn until witnesses stopped the car. "We got into the other car, and put it into reverse so we can release the USPS man, and he just fell to the ground," witness Mohammed Farha said. Then they cared for Ruiz until emergency crews took him to the hospital. Two weeks later, Ruiz is at UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest, recovering from his severe injuries. "The plan is, the doctors will place brackets inside my legs rather than have them outside," Ruiz said, pointing at his legs.Doctors said the road to recovery would be a long and tough one. But they also had good news. They were able to save his legs. "Then I will have normal use of my legs," Ruiz said. The Ruiz family has set up a Gofundme account for his medical expenses. 1409

(CNN) -- Could this BE any more exciting?In honor of the 25th anniversary of the television series "Friends," Pottery Barn has released its collection of limited-edition pieces inspired by the show."Friends" fanatics can pretend they're living it up in New York City with furniture and other home décor, starting Tuesday.One of the pieces up for sale is an apothecary table -- although Phoebe may not approve -- that was featured in season 6 of the show.The "Friends" Instagram account teased a picture of the collaboration.The image shows a Central Perk-esque background with two mugs, one with the line "You're my lobster" and the other with a picture of a lobster. It's a reference to Phoebe's belief that lobsters mate for life, so if someone is your lobster, you're meant to be with them forever.If the Pottery Barn collection isn't enough, "Friends" fans can try to score tickets to a pop-up shop in New York City this fall. 939
