The mask should cover your mouth, nose and fit snug. It should be worn at all times, except for when eating or drinking.Practice physical distancingIt's important to remember that you don't have to symptoms to spread the virus. Asymptomatic carriers can spread COVID-19, as we've seen in past super spreader events. Staying at least 6 feet apart will reduce your risk.Wash your handsAside from wearing a mask and social distancing, washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is vital. If you are unable to do so, you should have hand sanitizer with at last 60% alcohol nearby.Have a potluck ThanksgivingBringing your own food and utensils to the feast is another safe option. Not only would it reduce your chances of getting the virus, it also takes the pressure off the host.Plan an outdoor Thanksgiving feastHosting a dinner outside with a small group of people would allow for easy ventilation. If celebrating indoors, make sure to open windows to keep fresh flowing.Finally, there's no doubt that staying home is the safest bet. But if you plan to travel, check restrictions before you go. A tiger and panther cub pair was seized at the Tijuana Airport Tuesday. Both are safe an in custody. Officials say the cubs were found inside a wooden box with no documentation. Both were sent from the State of Mexico, but officials say their final destination is unclear. This isn't the first time a tiger cub has been taken in. Last August a tiger cub was seized from a car at the border by Customs and Border Protection officers. That cub has been under the care of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.  528

A Phoenix girl who was severely burned in March was visited by Grammy-winning artist Taylor Swift on Saturday. Eight-year-old Isabella and her father were injured on March 17 following an accident involving flammable liquids in north Phoenix. Swift stopped by the Maricopa Integrated Health System burn center in Phoenix to visit Isabella as she continues to undergo treatment. Swift is scheduled to perform at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale on Tuesday at 7 p.m.   522

A new sculpture has been unveiled at Arlington National Cemetery that honors the commitment of our brave military servicewomen.Called “The Pledge,” the life-size statue features a female soldier in a full combat uniform alongside a service dog.A website for the sculptor, Susan Bahary, says the piece is meant to emphasize the capabilities of women, which were attributed to only men not long ago.“’The Pledge’ captures a brief private moment of mutual respect and love, with duty calling,” the website says. “They pledge to support each other, doing the best they can to accomplish their important mission and stay safe.”The sculpture was commissioned by the U.S. War Dogs Association.It will be on display at the Women In Military Service For America Memorial, which The Associated Press reports is the only major national memorial honoring all women who have defended America throughout its history.Click here to learn about visiting the memorial. 958

A police chase spanning several cities turned into a three-hour standoff Tuesday night. The chase started at 10:40 p.m. in Northfield, Ohio and lasted nearly an hour before police from multiple departments were able to stop the car shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Route 82 in Broadview Heights.Police surrounded a suspect wielding a knife inside his car.Video: Aftermath of an hour long chase from Northfield to Broadview Heights.
