CHULA VISTA (KGTV) -- Chula Vista Police have arrested six suspects in an assault with a deadly weapon and robbery of a 16-year-old boy that occurred at a Chula Vista restaurant last Thursday, law enforcement officials announced.Police officials said that four juveniles and two adults, all of whom are suspected of participating in the April 11 attack, were taken into custody on Wednesday. Four of the suspects, aged between 15- and 17-years-old, attended Morse High School and have since been suspended.The two adult suspects, Kent Pasunting, 18, and Aldrin Uy, 19, attended Mark Twain High School, an alternative/continuation high school with a campus located at Morse High School. The victim and family, along with representatives of the Cotixan restaurant, all cooperated in the investigation. Officials with the San Diego Unified School District helped police to identify the attackers," said Chula Vista Police Department Captain Phil Collum.The incident was captured on cell phone video and posted to social media by the teen's mother. All six suspects were identified, in part, by the video, Collum said.The family says their teen was waiting for his mom to pick him up at Cotixan Mexican Restaurant last Thursday after school, when a group of teens walked in and started kicking and punching the boy.In the video, you can see someone on the ground getting repeatedly punched and kicked. He says everything started days before on Instagram, when, he says, his son told someone to stop harassing one of his friends. Martin says one teen then started messaging his son telling him he was going to beat him up.Martin says the incident was reported to Chula Vista Police but he's worried the teens will get away with what they did.Collum said the dispute began last month when the victim and suspect got into a heated exchange on social media over comments made to one of the victim’s friends. "On April 11th the victim and his girlfriend were sitting at the Cotixan restaurant when the suspects walked-in unexpectedly," Collum said. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - A heartbroken South Bay woman is making a desperate plea after three of her Maltese dogs disappeared in the past three weeks, and the clues point to a thief. These days, Yolanda Brown doesn't let Zubian, a year-and-a-half old Maltese, stray too far. Just three weeks ago, he was the youngest in a happy Maltese family of four. Now he's the only one left."Cried for days. It hurts. It hurts a lot," said Brown.The first tears came early this month. Brown rents a home on Del Mar Avenue and her four dogs were required to stay in her fenced backyard. One morning, 2-year-old Zoey vanished. "Checked all the gates and they were shut. Thought it may have been a predator," said Brown. A week later, Zoey's mom, 5-year-old Zivah, disappeared from the same yard."Just distraught, wondering what could have happened to them," said Brown.About 10 days later, Brown decided to keep Zubian and his 5-year-old dad Zeus tied up as a precaution. "One morning, as I came out, Zeus was gone and so was the leash. Zubian standing there by himself," said Brown.For Brown, it was too much to bear. Nearby, she found her fence damaged. A chair - moved from the pool area - was now propped up against the fence. She realized a thief had grabbed all of her dogs."Very cold-hearted people that would so something like that," said Brown.If sold, the stolen dogs could fetch several thousand dollars each. "They are priceless to me. They are members of my family," said Brown.Brown fixed up the fence and moved the chair back. When she walked us to that fence to show 10news cameras, she discovered the fence once again damaged. The chair had been moved back to the fence. "Someone was trying to come back and take my last dog. I'm scared," said Brown.Brown says Zubian has been moved to a safe place. (CNS) - Authorities Thursday announced a ,000 reward for information in connection with the January stabbing death of a teenage boy during a fight in Chula Vista.Devin Griffiths, 15, was at a birthday party in the 900 block of Maria Way when a fight between two other teens broke out around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 31, according to Chula Vista police.At one point during the fight, Griffiths -- who was not initially involved in the argument -- jumped in to help a friend who was being attacked by several young men, police said.
