(KGTV) - It will soon be easier to enjoy your favorite Disneyland foods during a day at the park.Disney will soon roll out a new mobile ordering service for food through its Disneyland App. With the new feature, guests will be able to place orders while at the park without waiting in line to order. Here's how it works: Guests use the app to place a food order at any participating restaurant and select an arrival time window for pickup. Guests will be notified when their order is ready for pick up at a designated window. (KGTV) – The company that operates Rubio’s Coastal Grill restaurants has filed for bankruptcy protection, citing the COVID-19 pandemic as one of the reasons for its decision.Reuters reported Monday that the Carlsbad-based company filed a restructuring plan that includes a plan to reduce its debt.The company confirmed in a statement that it “filed a prepackaged plan with the acceptance of its lenders, and voluntarily filed petitions for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.”Additionally, Rubio’s said they expect “to complete its restructuring by the end of the year." The company has 47 locations in San Diego County and more than 1,000 local employees."It was COVID that got us here, a very extraordinary situation, such as that we find ourselves in this position," co-founder Ralph Rubio said in an interview. "The great news is all of our restaurants are open, everybody is still employed, we're still operating just as we were before."Marc Simon, president and CEO of Rubio’s, said: “Rubio’s entered the year in a strong financial position, which has helped the Company remain flexible in navigating the unprecedented impact of the pandemic. The agreement with our sponsor and lenders will position the Company to thrive in this constantly evolving market. (KGTV) - The world's oldest message in a bottle was discovered half-buried at a West Australian beach nearly 132 years since it was written.The Western Australian Museum confirmed Tuesday that the message is dated June 12, 1886 — dating back more than 48,000 days. The old gin bottle was jettisoned from the Germain sailing barque "Paula," according to the museum."It just looked like a lovely old bottle so I picked it up thinking it might look good in my bookcase. My son’s girlfriend was the one who discovered the note when she went to tip the sand out," Tonya Illman, the woman who discovered the bottle told the museum. "The note was damp, rolled tightly and wrapped with string. We took it home and dried it out, and when we opened it we saw it was a printed form, in German, with very faint German handwriting on it."RELATED: Billionaire explorer discovers sunken US WWII aircraft carrierIllman's husband then spent time researching the message before discover just how far back it dated.According to the museum, the bottles were part of an experiment by what was known as "Deutsche Seewarte," or German Naval Observatory. For 69 years, thousands of bottle were tossed overboard German ships studying ocean currents.The notes, which contained dates and coordinates, would instruct whoever finds the bottle to write back when and where they located the note to help researchers build data on currents. The company compiled data from its Drives feature in the GasBuddy app, examining the top 30 metropolitan areas by population from Nov. 2018 to Feb. 2019, noting the frequency of an aggressive driving event.The data shows that no other city has a bigger need for speed than San Diego. According to Gas Buddy, San Diego drivers have 62% more speeding incidents than average US driver, followed by Orlando and Detroit. Los Angeles was 16th on the list.And, when it comes to being aggressive, San Diego ranked 6th in the country behind number one Los Angeles followed by Philadelphia, Sacramento, Atlanta, and San Francisco.“Frustration while driving in densely populated cities with high levels of congestion leads motorists to drive more aggressively and with more urgency.
