SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - 10News got an exclusive interview with the young San Diego man who says a local ICE agent pointed a gun at his head before being arrested, in part, for driving under the influence.“I’m 20 years-old and for him to pull a gun on me just for test-riding my motorcycle on the street is definitely not okay,” says Jonathan Levenson.A spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirms ICE Agent Ed Zuchelli is on administrative leave while officers investigate a criminal matter.San Diego police confirm the incident happened on February 16th on Blue Lake Drive in the community around Lake Murray.Levenson says he was test-riding his dirt bike on his street when he saw the agent walk into the middle of the street to block him.“He had it pointed at me at a ‘shooter’s position’. That’s when I knew it was definitely a gun,” he tells us of the agent, who is his neighbor. “When he first came up to me I could smell some beer on his breath but nothing too strong,” he adds.Levenson says he rode around the agent, but the agent got into his vehicle and followed. “He turned on his lights and sirens and started yelling at me through his microphone. [He was] telling me he was a federal agent and not to mess with him,” says Levenson.Levenson adds that the agent showed him his federal ID badge.SDPD confirms Zuchelli was in a government-issued vehicle at the time of arrest.Police say he was arrested for alleged DUI, showing a weapon and making threats. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Homeless hospital patients in San Diego are sometimes dumped back on the streets after receiving treatment. Some of them - then turned away from shelters who don't have enough room. California lawmakers are trying to change that.It breaks Kim Peterson's heart to see her friend, Heather, living on this Chula Vista sidewalk."This is a picture of us together," said Peterson. "We've become more like sisters."Heather is constantly in and out of hospitals."She's had multiple strokes," Peterson said. "She needs to use a wheelchair to get around."But, the care stops once the hospitals let her go."She was released back to the street with a bus pass," Peterson told 10News. "It was raining, with no place to go, just a blanket."Another time, Heather was taken to a shelter - but turned away.  "They dropped her off far from where she felt safe," Peterson said. "They took her downtown where there wasn't a bed for her."One hospital told 10News they give patients a list of resources, but the patient has to coordinate them on their own.  Senate Bill 1152 would require hospitals to confirm the shelters have room before they're discharged."What does she need to do?" said Peterson. "I will help her do whatever she needs to do to get housed, to be safe, instead, she's laying on the sidewalk."The current problem leaves the homeless in their most vulnerable state and back on the streets. "It's very discouraging to think that we can't do better than that," Peterson said. Today, Heather got news that a nursing facility has extra room. "She will never get better," Peterson said. "She's gonna be in this permanent state of disability."Heather will be celebrating her 60th birthday next month, with a roof over her head. Many others won't be as lucky. "We can find a solution," said Peterson. "I know we can."   1957

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- With the drop of a banner, the Rock Church replaced the old sign of the Body Shop Strip Club purchased by the church.The church says they’re unsure what they’ll do with the building, but Thursday, they made it clear it’s no longer a strip club.It was quite the presentation, dozens of people, a stage and a sound system. The announcement the church made yesterday officially unveiled Thursday.RELATED: Rock Church buys former strip club in Midway DistrictWith Pastor Miles McPherson leading the charge, a Rock Church banner draped over the sign of the former strip club. “I’m very excited for what this won’t be, and how we can help the girls moving forward,” McPherson said. The church and several investors brought the club and its license for .2 million.Councilmember Lorie Zapf said the move is the beginning of a new future for the Midway with a vision of parks, families and a new welcoming look. “Midway is no longer going to be the red light district of yesteryear.”The problem with the plan, however, is the building sits just feet away from another strip club. “They started harassing me in April, I was called about 15 times by their broker,” said Kathleen Morgan, who owns Les Girls Theater.“It’s easy to stigmatize this type of business. But we don’t even have male bouncers, we don’t even serve alcohol, we’re old school burlesque,” Morgan said.On stage Thursday, was a pledge to take over Morgan’s place. “I’m hoping that they can acquire the property next door. Once the Midway plan is approved, they’ll be able to plan for the future of what’s allowed here by the zoning,” Zapf said.Morgan says investors are trying to driver her out. The church says they aren’t involved in that. “That’s something that will have to take its own course, we’re not necessarily pushing that,” said McPherson.Morgan also says the business has been vandalized recently, adding if she sells, it won’t be to the church. “In 50 years we’ve never had this type of vandalism, we’ve never had these types of issues.
