SYDNEY, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Around 3,000 people marched peacefully through the streets of Sydney on Saturday to call for an end to the violence which has gripped China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) in recent weeks.
Shanghai has seen booming volunteer service over the past few years, with 4.13 million registered volunteers on the Shanghai Volunteer platform and 1.07 million on Youth Shanghai at present. The city now has 231 volunteer service organizations.
