The FBI raided Michael Cohen's office on Monday, the personal lawyer to President Donald Trump who allegedly oversaw a 0,000 payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in the days leading up to the 2016 election, the New York Times reported. According to the Times, Special Counsel Robert Mueller issued a referral for the raid, although the search does not appear to be directly related to his ongoing investigation of Russian meddling and possible coordination with the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. Berman took the information to a federal judge, who green lighted the raid. Berman replaced acting US Attorney Joon Kim, who replaced Preet Bharara. Bharara was fired by Trump after he refused to resign when Trump demanded that all US Attorneys who worked under President Barack Obama to step down. Despite Berman being a Trump appointee, the President said the investigation is a "witch hunt.""I have this witch hunt constantly going on, it is a real disgrace," Trump said. "It is an attack on what we all stand for," It is at an all new level of unfairness."Attorney General Jeff Sessions vowed to stay out of the Mueller investigation shortly after being confirmed as AG. He assigned his Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to oversee Mueller's investigation. Trump admitted on Monday that had he known that Sessions would recuse himself, that he would have looked for a different attorney general."The attorney general made a terrible mistake when he did this and when recused himself or he certainly should have let us know if he was going to recuse himself and we would have put a different attorney general in," Trump said. "So he made what I consider to be a very terrible mistake for the country. But you'll figure that out."Trump was asked whether he should fire Mueller. "I think it's a disgrace what's going on. We'll see what happens..Many people have said you should fire him," Trump said. "Again, they found nothing and in finding nothing that's a big statement because you know the person who is in charge of the investigation."Cohen was reportedly responsible for paying Daniels 0,000 to keep quiet about a previous sexual encounter with Trump. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has asked the public’s help in identifying members of a female gang who have been spotted in Middle Tennessee.  The FBI said Felony Lane Gang members use rental cars with tinted windows to watch you and your car in parking lots at gyms, daycares or anywhere someone might leave a purse in a car.They have been spotted in Nashville, Mt. Juliet, Gallatin and several other towns around the Metro area.When they see an opportunity, they'll swipe IDs, credit cards and checkbooks. Then, they hand all of that over to prostitutes and drug users they recruit to impersonate victims.Those women take stolen checks and IDs to multiple banks to withdraw large amounts of money -- all before the victims have a chance to close their accounts.According to authorities, they use the farthest window from the teller in bank drive-thru lanes. This drive-thru lane is commonly known as the "felony lane," which is what inspired their nickname.Investigators said they’re known to use wigs and other disguises to impersonate their victims at banks. The Federal Aviation Administration issued an emergency directive for inspections of certain Boeing 737 planes due to recent reports of engine shutdowns.The FAA issued an emergency airworthiness directive on Thursday for certain Boeing 737s that have been in storage for more than a week.According to the directive, a certain engine valve may be responsible for four recent reports of engine shutdowns. Agency officials suspect that the valve may become corroded during storage, causing it to remain stuck in the open position.The directive requires that any Boeing 737-300, -400, -500, -600, -700, -700C,-800, -900, and -900ER that have been in storage for a week or longer undergo an inspection before being put back into use. The directive also requires inspections for any of those Boeing models that have completed "less than 10 flight cycles" at the time of the directive after coming out of storage.The inspection order was released the same day that CNBC reported that Boeing told lenders to expect fewer deliveries of its 737 Max planes that initially expected. The fatal New York City helicopter crash that killed everyone on board except the pilot may have been caused by a passenger's piece of luggage, the pilot told investigators.The pilot said one of the passenger's bags may have inadvertently hit the emergency fuel shutoff button, leading to the crash that killed five passengers, a senior law enforcement official said.The National Transportation Safety Board will try to determine the cause of the Sunday evening crash, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
