In the history of aviation, our passenger numbers are where they were in 1965, so that gives you a sense of how dramatic the decrease in passengers has been.” Becca Doten, a spokesperson for Los Angeles World Airports, said.Also known as LAX, it's the third-largest airport in the world. It’s the No. 1 origination and destination airport in the world and it’s undergoing massive changes.“We’ve installed touch-free faucets in the restrooms, touch-free water bottle refill stations, touch-free water fountains as well as employing UV technology to clean our air in our terminals,” Doten said.There are Plexiglas barriers everywhere. Even the elevators are touch-less.“Making it so elevators stop on every floor so you don’t have to touch the buttons and installing anti-bacterial sanitizing buttons and film in areas that people do need to touch,” Doten said.Concessions are mobile too. And the vending machines aren't full of snacks, but personal protective equipment.“You can find vending machines that will have hand sanitizer, face coverings, gloves and unique items like UVC light to clean your phone and all are TSA compliant so you can take what you purchase there through TSA with no problem,” Doten said.ACI, or Airports Council International, advocates for airports around the world. in Highlands County.The Highlands County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a body found in a wooded area in Lake Placid, Florida, a little before Thursday afternoon. Deputies identified the deceased man as 45-year-old Melvin Olds Jr.Following the investigation, deputies noticed Olds suffered injuries that would come from an animal attack, believed to be from a pack of dogs. The medical examiner also responded to the scene and could not find any injuries other than the ones caused by the dogs. Autopsy results found more than 100 dog bites on the victim's body, the sheriff's office said on Friday. A final determination of what killed Olds will be made after toxicology results. A pack of dogs was later spotted in the area shortly after Olds' body was discovered. Deputies say six dogs have been captured in the area and their bite size matches wounds on Old's body. However, authorities say that alone is not enough to say for sure that they were the animals involved. DNA from the captured dogs will be compared to DNA collected from the wounds, deputies say. Highlands County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services officers have set traps in the area and Animal Services units have been patrolling the area looking for loose dogs who may have been involved in the attack."While we may have the dogs that were responsible for this horrible tragedy, we won’t know for sure for a while,” Sheriff Paul Blackman said. “I want to encourage residents of Highway Park and the surrounding area to be on the lookout for any loose dogs, especially those that seem aggressive. He suggests companies create a new policy relating specifically to work-from-home reimbursement expenses."Some organizations I’ve seen actually have policies about what won’t be reimbursed. We won’t be reimbursing lawn care or electricity in the house. The clearer you can be, the better it is for an employee. And why is this so? Because everything is new.
