SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A second night of unrest across the country sparked by a grand jury decision in the Breonna Taylor case.Taylor, a 26-year-old emergency medical worker, was shot and killed by Louisville police officers during a botched drug raid on her home in March. The warrant used to search her home was connected to a suspect who did not live there, and no drugs were found inside.A grand jury in Louisville on Wednesday decided that no officers will face charges for Taylor's death.Follow our live streams below. 529

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A student at Nazareth School San Diego in Mission Valley is in the hospital with meningococcal disease, county health officials said Friday. The County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) said it is reaching out to anyone who came in close contact with the child at the K-8 school. Antibiotics are not being recommended for those who are not at risk. “While meningococcal disease can be serious and deadly, it is not spread through casual contact. Therefore, the risk to those who were not in close, direct contact is minimal,” said Wilma Wooten, M.D., M.P.H., County public health officer. “We want to make sure students are up to date on immunizations and are asking people in the school community to look for the signs and symptoms of the disease.” Meningococcal disease is caused by a bacteria and spread through close contact including sharing drinking glasses, eating utensils, and smoking or vaping equipment. The bacteria can cause serious and potentially life-threatening illness. Symptoms include fever, headache, sensitivity to light and noise, a stiff neck, and a rash. Anyone who develops the symptoms should get medical help, health officials said. 1193

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego man is helping local veterans overcome PTSD one swing of a golf club at a time.Vietnam veteran Tony Perez founded Operation Game On, a golf program that helps veteran learn the game of golf and socialize.And the program works. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A water main break flooded streets and cars in North Park Sunday morning. According to authorities, the break happened near University and Polk Avenue around 4 a.m. The water flowed down to Florida Drive and Pershing Drive where a driver got stuck in rising water, according to police. Police say the man is a doctor who was heading to work at the nearby Navy Medical Center and didn’t know how deep the water was. Crews on scene were able to get the man out of his car. He was uninjured. Crews were forced to shut down eight different valves to get the flow of water to stop. No homes or businesses were injured. 642
