FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A driver narrowly missed hitting a deputy on a traffic stop Tuesday, instead rolling over their vehicle in an effort to avoid hitting him.The whole crash was caught on dash cam video.On Tuesday afternoon, Eddy Ramos was driving when the rollover happened in front of him.His video shows an SUV in the northbound lanes swerve past the deputy who was stopped on the right shoulder.  The SUV veered left and rolled over across the median, coming to a stop upside down in the southbound lanes.Thankfully the SUV's driver appeared to be uninjured as she climbed out the driver side window.No word on whether any charges were filed. 659

Fred Meyer stores will phase out all sales of guns and ammunition, according to parent company, Kroger."Fred Meyer has made a business decision to exit the firearms category," Kroger spokesperson Kristal Howard said in an emailed statement on Monday.The company said it made the decision last week "after evaluating changing customer preferences" and also "softening consumer demand" for guns for the last several years.Annual gun sales at Fred Meyer are million and "continue to decline," according to the company."More recently Fred Meyer has been transitioning away from gun departments as a result of the ongoing work to optimize space in Fred Meyer stores," the company said.The news comes after Kroger announced last week that the grocer will stop selling magazines featuring "assault rifles."Earlier this month, Kroger said its Fred Meyer stores would stop selling guns to anyone under 21, even though the law permits the sale of rifles to anyone 18 or older. Firefighters battling the Holy Fire in Southern California took care of a dehydrated fawn Monday afternoon. Officials with the Cleveland National Forest tweeted that the firefighters stumbled upon the fawn and discovered she was heat exhausted and dehydrated. The men can be seen in a photo giving the fawn a much-needed drink of water before helping get her back on her feet.  410

Four lions at the Barcelona Zoo tested positive for coronavirus, according to veterinary officials. This is the second report of large felines contracting the disease at a zoo.Barcelona Zoo in Spain says two staff members also tested positive for COVID-19 during the outbreak last month, in addition to four of their lions, according to the BBC: Zala, Nima, Run Run, who are all females, and one male, Kiumbe. A statement from the zoo said the animals had been showing upper respiratory symptoms, and were given a coronavirus test.“The Zoo has worked with international experts such as the Veterinary Service of the Bronx Zoo, the only one that has documented cases of Sars-CoV-2 infection in felines,” a statement from the zoo reads.In April, four tigers and three lions tested positive for COVID-19 at the Bronx Zoo."The lions were given veterinary care for their mild clinical condition - similar to a very mild flu condition - through anti-inflammatory treatment and close monitoring, and the animals responded well,” a statement from Barcelona Zoo reads.The zoo reports most symptoms have improved in the lions, other than some minor coughing and sneezing.An investigation is underway to determine how the lions became infected in Barcelona, according to the BBC they may have been in contact with an asymptomatic staff member. 1340
