Little Caesars is reportedly rolling out a new product that would combine two Italian favorites.According to ChewBoom, the chain recently started testing a lasagna pizza, made with a toasted Parmesan-breadcrumb crust topped with meaty marinara sauce, Italian sausage, mozzarella, muenster, ricotta and mini ribbon pasta.So far, the pizza has reportedly been spotted in Georgia, West Virginia and Ohio.One pizza has 2,740 calories, 111 grams of fat and 5,780 milligrams of sodium. 487
LA MESA (KGTV) -- East County residents are worried about thousands of parolees flocking to their community. The state wants to add a parole office in the city of La Mesa but residents are not happy about the proposed location, saying it's too close to their schools and homes. “I’m very uncomfortable with the prospect of violent and sexual offenders routinely coming into my neighborhood,” says Susan Nichols with the Grossmont- Mt. Helix Improvement Association. The new building sits at the end of Grossmont Summit Drive, directly behind homes on Mt. Helix. The location is in close proximity to local schools, less than a mile from Grossmont High School and Mt. Helix Academy. “The bus stop that would service this facility is directly in front of Grossmont High School, the same stop that the students will be using,” says Nichols.Supervisor Dianne Jacob sent her community a letter the Department of Corrections addressed to the La Mesa City Clerk. Parent Wendy Tinsley Becker says she’s extremely concerned about the children in this area. Her family made copies of the letter and hand-delivered them to neighbors living close to the site. Supervisor Jacob sent 10News a statement that says in part: “I’m deeply troubled by the state proposal and I share the residents’ concerns about the impact on public safety. Allowing convicted criminals to frequent an area that close to thousands of Grossmont High School students and quiet neighborhoods is a terrible idea.”The La Mesa City Clerk says they are doing what they can to prevent the parole office from coming to the city. 10News reached out to the State Department of Corrections about the location. They responded in part:“The men and women who will be served at this office lived there before they were incarcerated and have returned to the community. LA MESA (CNS) - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 8 in La Mesa and lanes of the freeway were blocked this morning until further notice.The crash occurred near state Route 125 at 9:55 p.m. Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.A witness told officers one vehicle was being driven recklessly just before hitting the center divider wall.The crash blocked three westbound lanes of the freeway and a SigAlert was issued at 10:30 p.m., the CHP said.The age, gender, and name of the victim was not disclosed. 557

(KGTV) — Authorities are offering up to ,000 for tips leading to the arrest of the person who burglarized a gun shop in La Mesa last month.At about 11 p.m. on May 30, an unknown man burglarized Alex Imports Gun Shop located at 7839 University Ave. in La Mesa, according to the ATF. They host elopements and tiny weddings.Couples can choose their own adventure — they can ump into a limo, vintage vehicle, or anything on wheels and head to a special spot to say “I do.” Couples can also walk to their destination if they prefer.“This is how I Do Drive Thru came to be as we realized getting married is still absolutely an essential business,” said Berlynn Holdmann, the lead officiant in Las Vegas. “It can be done within the limitations and guidelines that are being enforced with social distancing measures.”Couples can skip the cost of a venue, DJ, and catering costs.
