BEIJING, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- China's Xinhua News Agency President Cai Mingzhao met in Beijing with his Agence France-Presse (AFP) counterpart Emmanuel Hoog Tuesday, exchanging views on transformation of news agencies in the Internet era and pledging deeper cooperation.
The project, covering more than 610 acres with two man-made islands and a natural one, was originally planned to comprise a cruise ship port, a service department, hotels and theme parks to invigorate the tourism and service industries.
China and Vietnam have been in close contact on infrastructure cooperation projects and the deal can also be regarded as a model for win-win cooperation between the two countries as they have called for an alignment between China's Belt and Road initiative and Vietnam's "Two Corridors and One Economic Circle" plan.
In addition, he suggested that China-Africa cooperation prioritize infrastructure construction, so as to bring tangible benefits to all the people.
The leaders will also plan the new vision of development in the next five years, aiming to strengthen top-level design for the cooperation, Wang said, adding that some outcome documents will be released after the meeting.
