Wang suggested the two countries accelerate the negotiation on a bilateral investment treaty and make more arrangements for visa reciprocity so as to facilitate two-way investment and personal exchanges.

Xi announced last month that China will contribute 40 billion U.S. dollars to set up a Silk Road Fund on strengthening connectivity and improving cooperation in the country's neighborhood, as he met with leaders of Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan and Tajikistan in Beijing.
"Through the engagement of private businesses, governments of both countries will be able to have a better understanding of the problems and difficulties faced by enterprises in cross-border investment and operating, and provide necessary assistance," Yang noted.
