View this post on Instagram This honestly hurts my heart to have to post this right now, but I’m just requesting prayers and positive energy for my young guy! @RyanBowersOB has to be one of the most talented and gifted youngsters I’ve ever met but more importantly one of the most resilient and strong spirits I’ve personally witnessed. He had such a troubled and haunted journey when I first signed him that I wasn’t aware of because he did it all with a smile. One of the nicest and sincere kids you could ever meet. About 5 years ago I created a alternative rap group for him and @Kehlani along with a few other talented young artist called “PWD”. They were all so dope that I invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in them. They had amazing songs with @E40 @losangelesconfidential @djpremier and more. They toured with @therealtechn9ne and even performed on Wildnout, at SXSW and other festivals. And Bowers was the energy of the group, a writer, rapper, singer, skateboarder.??! The kid could do it all, but like most of us he had his own demons and darkness that he struggled with. We would often talk about God and Spirituality and he got to a place where it all was confusing for him and he couldn’t trust anyone. I told him I would always have his back and would be there for him so when I got the call today that he slit his throat and then immediately after the San Diego police shot him numerous times. My heart sunk. Through the grace of the Most High Ryan Bowers is still here with us, but he needs your prayers and positive energy. Walmart is getting a face-lift. On Wednesday, the retail giant unveiled a reimagined store design in 200 Supercenters by early 2021 and 1,000 by next fiscal year.Walmart said that the new design would create a "seamless" Omni-shopping experience with more self-checkout kiosks and contactless payment options."We’re always listening to our customers and innovating our in-store, online, and mobile experiences to meet and exceed their expectations," said Janey Whiteside, EVP, and Chief Customer Officer, Walmart, in a blog post. Video of an Arizona guitar hero is wowing people around the country.  The guitarist is Ridge Brown, a senior at Ironwood High School in Glendale, Arizona. He played the national anthem for a school assembly and the video posted by his teacher has gone viral, with thousands of clicks and attention from national news outlets. The reason, Ridge is a student with autism. The performance in front of his classmates was the first time he played in public, and he nailed it. "I was a little nervous, but I always felt excited," Ridge told Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix. "Autism can't hold me back because I'm a real rock star." That's the message his dad, Glen Brown, loves to hear. "There's a very, very smart person inside there, trying to get out," Glen said. Glen's mission in life is unlocking that potential. These days, Glen said Ridge loves talking and interacting with people, but that wasn't always the case. Ridge was nonverbal until age three. Music was the thing that finally freed Ridge from his autistic silence when he started singing with the radio. "It helps me express every emotion I have inside my entire brain," Ridge said. Now, he has plans for an encore."If the Suns wanted me to play the National Anthem at the game I'll be doing that," Ridge said. At the end of Ridge's first performance, a thunderous applause warmed dad's heart. "I broke into tears," Glen said. VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) — Firefighters made short work of a fire that tore through a Vista home and set nearby vegetation ablaze Saturday evening.Vista Fire Department responded to reports of a fire in the area of Robelini Drive and El Valle Opulento just before 7 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find a brush fire extending into a home at 110 El Valle Opulento.As firefighters battled back the brush fire, other fire crews tackled flames shooting our of the home. Firefighters say that because of the "rapidly deteriorating conditions inside the home," crews were forced to get out of the home and fire the fire from outside.The fire was fully extinguished within about an hour, VFD said. One person was displaced from the home. No injuries were reported. It's not clear how the fire began. The fire is currently under investigation.Firefighters reminded homeowners to have working smoke alarms in their home and clear vegetation away from any structure. 957
